Maggie was quite quick to shut the priest down when he was speaking of the House of God- and her dad was super religious.
I think they were a but horrified because it was the first time they saw live people being killed but I think everyone knew there was no way that group of psychopaths could be left alive.

That was my Dh's theory too CheerfulYank, he didn't know the hospital bit but thought it must be someone else pushing Daryl out having kept Carol and Beth hostage.
