I thought the chairs were interchangable? So if someone better than fishmonger sings, they can be swapped out?

This is doing my head in. It seems like an exercise in cruelty (the chairs) and bullying (the audience). Did they do this last year?

I just don't see what value it is adding to the contestants experiences or to the viewers.

Trainers are a 'thing' then? Thought Lily Allen killed that?
