That's it...so badly cast....what was Joss thinking? I feel so annoyed everytime she gets screen time when it can be given to the other characters.

I promise I do have a busy life, just feel strongly about this

I loved Oz too. I agree that tara's death was well written, I remember being so shocked the first time I saw it. I do think Anya deserved more though. It was really her fault she went all vengeance again My husband won't allow me to name any future dds Willow or Anya - what a bastard eh?

Is Angel worth watching? I've got the box set but never got round to watching it.

I managed to persuade DH to use Faith as a middle name :) (cos it took a long time to conceive!)....

I only ever watched the first season and abit of the 2nd season of Angel and then got bored. Even though i have been obsessed with David Boreanaz since the first episode of Buffy aired on tv and i was about 11.

Mmmn, maybe he would let me have a Buffy themed middle name? Lucy Willow or Joseph Rupert.

Maybe I'll just rewatch Buffy rather than start on Angel. One of my proudest parenting moments was when I realised my two and half year old dd was singing along to "walk through the fire" in the car with me I do love Buffy.

Willow was one of my top choices for dd, but dp said no. And then my cousin named her dog Willow.

FoxSticks - I've been watching buffy and angel together this maternity leave. There were a few crossovers in the first season of angel and fourth season of buffy so worth watching them together. Now I've reached Angel season 4 though and really don't want to watch it since I know what's coming (no spoilers but.... The bloody stupid Connor storyline is yucky). I have to slog through it though to get to season 5.

So it's worth watching once at least and I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you enjoy Buffy. Angel is just a bit gloomier, the humour is still there.

Maybe I will give it a go then, it would be interesting to see the crossovers they refer to.

I wanted willow for Dd1 but that annoying Willow Smith was waving her hair back and forth and Dh said no.

I know an Anya. Right from the start I called her "my favourite little vengeance demon". Thankfully her dad is a fan :)

I wanted Willow, but it didn't match our surname and DH said it was too obvious (everyone knows I'm a Buffy geek). Xander was our boys name choice, but then we had DD, dammit.

I love Xander but my BIL is an Alex and we already got married on his birthday, it feels a bit mean to nick his name too. I do like Anya, it's a beautiful name. Maybe I'll suggest it again

Oh God I hate Kennedy and most of the other potentials. I liked Vi and the girl from school though. Spike is just amazing. I only ever watch Angel season 5 to watch Spike. He is in an earlier one though which is pretty good - although I only watch the Spike bits. Angel gets on my nerves a bit.

She wasn't as bad as done of the other potentials, she just got a more important role.

The potential with the English accent was the worst. I hate Americans 'doing' English accents.

Yup, Kennedy was really awful. But Tara was pretty annoying too imo. We have settled for naming pets rather than children after Buffy characters! Cat is Buffy, we adopted a duck years ago and called it Willow. About to get our first puppy . So, Buffy fans, what should we call her?

Oh I love Spike. It's a measure of how fab his character is that the preposterous accent hardly even bothers me .
