Seems Deano is being written as the Square predator. So does this mean the end for this character as he can't come back from all this can he? So will he ever be reconciled with Shirley?
Then again, Ben callously murdered Heather and is back a couple of years later, so maybe they'll hold a parade in his honour.

Will Tosh be Linda's support as she knows what he is like? And now Tosh is vulnerable when before we saw her as violent and controlling.
Interesting times ahead.

I didn't mean that to sound the way I can see it looks. It sounded to me like Tosh had been reluctant but then when she spoke to Tina, it seemed less like that. When she was in bed and he spoke to her about helping her have the baby she wasn't interested so I thought maybe they would write in that it wasn't consensual because they didn't show it.
Rather I thought that when he attacks Linda it will come out that Tosh had been raped too.

I think Linda will tell nobody until her mum turns up, who'll encourage her to tell the rest of her family. That's one reason why Shirley won't be leaving, because they need her for the aftermath of the rape story.

I agree Denny's hair is bloody awful. I keep thinking of 'the Rachel' haircut when I see him.

If you look at the last shot of Shirl pointing the gun at Phil and Sharon there's them, Fats and Aunt Sal in the firing line..no sign of Denny. My guess is she'll turn the gun on herself but someone will disturb her so she aims badly and doesn't die.

I've got a feeling that the rape storyline is going to be handled realistically although I think it will be really hard to watch.

The actor who plays Dean has hinted that Dean will be in denial about the whole thing. So if Linda is afraid or ashamed to tell anyone (which many women are), then when she finally does, people will be doubtful over whether they believe her, and Dean will be saying it was consensual, and after all, she's. covered for him before.

The actor who plays Dean said in an interview that Eastenders wanted to highlighted the problem of low reporting and low conviction rates and women being doubted.

I think it's going to be really harrowing Hmm I hope Eastenders don't mess up with such a sensitive subject.

Yes, I think it will be harrowing too. I'm actually a bit anxious about watching it as its a bit close to home. That makes me sound ridiculous as it is not compulsory viewing.

I think 'Linda' is a good actress who conveys emotion well.

I really don't want Mick to doubt her or for them to split up. I know it isn't real life.

I can see that Pyjama, about Dean denying it...but I bet Shirley will see through it and is torn about what to do. I can't see the Dean actor staying beyond Easter in any case.
