I just don't get how Alfie thinks burning all their belongings is going to improve things... it's ridiculous. His character has always been intensly annoying but is anyone really that fucking stupid ?

Cos he is a plank he lost his stall just makes sense he works on kats altnough alex hateshim so pprobably avoiding him, but they have 3 children low income they would get tax credits

This. I'm guessing it has to be contents insurance he's after, it being a rented house? Though how they're going to manage without any of their belongings, and all the equipment new born babies need, in the short term, is mind boggling and stupid, and that;s if he doesn't get caught (which, it being EE, he will be).

Alex was right. Not about the benefits bashing, but the scamming being all that Alfie does. He does it as second nature almost, even when no real need. And it never pays off, but he doesn't seem to learn from that.

I remember similar conversations a while ago here about Bianca and children when they were in dire straits. They would be able to claim some sort of child related benefits, you'd imagine. Same with Alfie and Kat. But they don't seem to

I'm quite shocked about the Linda/Dean storyline. I know they're laying it on a bit thick with the creepy weirdo but I didn't think they'd go that far. Poor Linda.

I often wondered why kat/Alfie/B/Carol never claimed benefits. I mean realistically that's what they are there for. Maybe one day a job centre will pop up in the square.

Did bianca not get investiged at one point for benefit fraud . I think lee has just finished a tour but surely he would be in barracks somewhere I dont know how long they get off friends partner is a soldier and he has a job in his barracks and only home every other week
