...watching the new tv series?

Have managed to watch 4 episodes now without needing to give CC details but I think youtube keep removing the downloads. Agree the pace is very good, nice and relaxed with plenty of detail.

Managed to watch it via an American friend. Loving it so far. Not sure if it'll be too slow for people who haven't read the books though.

Oh I loved the books so so much! My son was named after Jamie, if I'd had a daughter she would have been Brianna I'd be scared to watch this just in case Jamie isn't as handsome as he is in my head.....

I was introduced to the books via my book club a few months ago and have read all 8 in quick succession. I am also downloading the TV series but haven't watched any yet because we are planning a mini book club session of them.

turns out I hadn't actually read book 8, it was book 7 which had the cliff hangers . So I'm simultaneously reading book 8, while watching series 1, and devouring all the interviews on YouTube . I seem to have a massive crush on Sam Heughan at least he's only 10 years younger than me, that's allowed I think.

I've caught up with last week's episode. Still enjoying it. I think this every week, but the casting is brilliant.

I have a major criticism of the tv series. There's not enough Jamie! I demand more Jamie, I will accept some Jamie nudity as an apology.

the wedding is in episode 7, so there should be quite a lot of Jamie then, both in and out of his kilt .

and last night's episode (which I haven't seen yet) should have shirt-less Jamie

But that's two weeks away!

I should hide my perv tendencies better.

I just watched last nights, it's mainly from the back and he's all sadfaced so it ruins any potential perving.

I need to know if he has nice feet or not, as my last big crush turns out to have bunions. I've had bunions, crushes can't have bunions .

Good god that sounds traumatic. . Crushes must NOT suffer from such ailments!

DH is away next weekend so I shall be spending quality time with the DC re-watching all the episodes so far with a particular emphasis on feet .

Just watched "rent" and loving the sexual tension, particularly the scene at Claire's bedroom door. Disappointed that shirtless Jamie was mostly prosthetic though . But onwards and upwards - "wedding" is in 13 days....

Gutted they're having a break after episode 8!!!!
