New series starts on Sunday at 9pm - I can't wait. I really hope Binky has dumped the cheating deadweight.

I don't remember a Tara, was she on the show??

After a while all the posh girls blend into one. I hope that isn't a poshist thing to say.

WowserBowser · 14/08/2014 23:41

Yes but not often. She was still at school and doing her A Levels so wasn't in it much. She had long brown hair.

It came out after he kissed Lucy on the skiing trip and was in the hot tub with Phoebe.

WowserBowser · 14/08/2014 23:43

If you Google Tara Keeney - he was seen with her in April/May of this year.

WowserBowser · 14/08/2014 23:43

Jamie that is

squoosh · 15/08/2014 01:20

Ah yes, I vaguely remember her. She was still in boarding school at the time. I suppose that even a 14 year old from Mallory Towers circa 1952 would be more mature than Mr Biscuits.

AppleYumYum · 15/08/2014 09:35

Jamie deserves whatever is coming, what a selfish dick for inviting Alex and telling Binky it's him over her after all she has been through. It's time to grow up and learn a few lessons boi.

They've really ramped up the tiny tears/boggle eyes against Lucy thing when I thought they were getting on ok at the end of last season after being united over legohead's bad behaviour. I love Lucy but I was cringing like Stevie at that brunch party confrontation, it just gives them more fuel.

I cannot stand Rosie, she's just so boring and does nothing but try to cause trouble. She doesn't seem to have anything to be true to, she just changes depending on who she is with.

WowserBowser · 15/08/2014 09:58

Oh my god!! I just wrote a massive essay about Rosie, Louise, cheska, amazing sex, big eyelids and felching - and my phone wouldn't post it!!!

Argh.

The jist was, i agree with you all about Rosie BUT i bet she's the funniest in real life.

WowserBowser · 15/08/2014 10:00

Oh and Jamie was fucking awful to Binky.

He was friends with her waaaaayyy longer than lego head.

He seems the type that only likes women if he fancies them.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 15/08/2014 12:12

Margot's right, Spencer always operates on the principle of "All for me and me for myself" so for Jamie to be so fed up with Alex it seems pretty OTT.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/08/2014 16:23

Rosie is a shit stirrer

As is Jamie asking Alex to go to New York

Think he still likes binky

All the girls seem to slag each other off

I do like Lucy. She is honest and blunt

Wonder what sex god spenny will be like when 40

They are all young and have to keep saying that to myself lol

ZebraZeebra · 15/08/2014 19:36

I loved that shot of Spenny at the party looking a bit uncertain about his hair as he smoothed it. Hahaha, it was such a genius shot.

ChaffinchOfDoom · 15/08/2014 21:49

Spenny was a bit dumbfounded by the tom cruise-a-like and his empire of leather too Grin

WowserBowser · 16/08/2014 07:51

I think that shot looked like 'i need to shag Louise soon'
He likes to know he has power over women.

I would so shag him! And Mark Wright.

Disclaimer: i may still be drunk

Kaluki · 16/08/2014 23:10

Well Jamie and Lego head are obviously best buddies again now!
Just saw them in Eastbourne apparently they were 'DJing' but all I heard was a lot of shouting. As DP says they really are a pair of bellends !!!

tumbletime · 17/08/2014 21:47

I know that obviously the majority of this show (if not all) is fake and set up but the nyc series is really annoying me as they're not even trying to hide the fact that it's all a set up, it all looks so blantant this time, e.g. Lucy sitting next to Jules in the park and him chatting her up. At least the London one sometimes has a slight air of credibility as they do hang out at the same places so it's conceivable that sometimes they can bump into each other/meet the same people. Anyone else think the same?

Fizzyfuzzy123 · 17/08/2014 21:48

Was thinking exactly the same tumble. They look like they are laughing whilst trying to be serious and moody too

TessTackle · 17/08/2014 21:50

Ugh Spencer is so full of shit!

tumbletime · 17/08/2014 21:51

Yeah you can almost see them thinking "We know you know that it's fake so we're just going to take the piss now" Smile

Fizzyfuzzy123 · 17/08/2014 22:06

It's a load of old shite but I will be tuning in next week Wink

Coumarin · 18/08/2014 01:48

Hello, can I join you all?

I've never watched MIC before but the NYC setting and the hair has lured me in. This thread is helping put names to faces.

So. No clue who anyone is or what's happened but I'm liking it so far. Nice chewing gum tv.

slalomsuki · 18/08/2014 07:54

Thought it was a bit of a letdown after all the anticipation.

If Jamie was that annoyed surely he would have got physical at some point. Noticed the "I was drunk and didn't know what I was doing" excuse was coming out from Lego man. Surely he has a but of a problem with alcohol.

Didn't take to the Rosie/Lucy squeeze....jules was is? Thought he was a bit creepy.

AppleYumYum · 18/08/2014 13:31

Rolled up t-shirt fad really annoying me! Biscuits is just the biggest dick, he really has digestive crumbs for brains.

Victoria in church?? WTF, the least Christian towards others person in history surely, I was waiting for a sign from God about his thoughts on that, mystery falling statue on the way out perhaps, freak lightening strike.

That Jules guy was so irritating, I wanted to punch his preppy eager face, bleugh, everything in moderation including moderation crap. Rosie's dress at the party foul!

silveroldie2 · 18/08/2014 17:25

I was a tad disappointed that Alex didn't have his evil way with Jamie's mother as someone suggested earlier in the thread - that would have really sent Jamie over the edge.

Binky is still a bit me me me. Jules will go for Lucy and dump goggle eyed Rosie if he has any sense. Still don't understand why tiny tears attracts so many men - just don't get it. Plus she wears some very odd clothes.

I wish Stevie would get a move on with Billie - so want to see Spenny losing the girl.

OP posts:
AllYouNeedIsTea · 18/08/2014 19:28

I wasn't keen on Jules either but I did like it when he said 'they're not property' when Proudlock and 'Stefan' were talking about girls.

Spenny seems to think he has a right to every girl he meets. The other boys seem to let him get away with it and the girls always seem to agree to a date with him.

Alex is just awful. He looks awful, his behaviour is awful and his personality is awful. Don't know what Binky ever saw in him and yes, he clearly has a problem with alcohol.

These young people are so privileged but the majority of them seem to be completely devoid of any respect, for themselves and for others.

Having said that, I do enjoy watching it!

Scarletohello · 18/08/2014 20:52

Alex is completely unable to take any responsibility for his actions. Saying to Jamie, I'm sorry about what happened rather than I'm sorry for what I did, as if it was out of his control. He's such a weasel and amazing that any girl would 'hook up' with him now, knowing what he's like. Yuk!
