I didn't see it, but OMG what a sheltered life!

beckybrastraps · 14/09/2006 10:14

I'm laughing, but that is rather tragic.

Seashells · 14/09/2006 10:14

Had she never eaten one before???

oliveoil · 14/09/2006 10:15

She was 5 stone over weight and didn't eat ANY fruit or veg,

Breakfast was an Egg McMuffin, lunch was crisps and dinner was chips.

You should have seen a weeks food laid out on the table, mind boggling.

Lost 1.5 stone at the end and had tons more energy.

nailpolish · 14/09/2006 10:16

she was a very sad individual

watching telly in her room in the middle of the day

her mother preparing all her meals

aged 29

Seashells · 14/09/2006 10:17

Where do they find these people!?

Did anyone see the episode that revealed what goes into hotdogs, all the snouts and hairy ears, ewwwww! I've never touched one since!

oliveoil · 14/09/2006 10:17

I know

very sad when she confessed to sneaking a tuna sandwich and crips but I did laugh when she said "I looked for brown bread but they only had white", like that was ok

Awww bless her. I ate a pound of them yesterday and let's just say Gillian would be pleased with the outcome

I love plums!!!

oliveoil · 14/09/2006 10:18

I have only just started watching it, dh is in the other room shouting at the football so I can judge people in peace with my bag of Kettle's.

They had a gorgeous house

very posh

oliveoil · 14/09/2006 10:23

didn't they all look alike??

OP posts:
bunny75 · 14/09/2006 10:25

Pathetic woman! I mean who's never eaten a bloody plum??!!! She's lucky really....she was 5 stone overweight through eating utter trash....simple, stop eating all the chips and MacD's......wish that was my excuse...i'm 4 stone overweight, and i never eat half the stuff she did!!

oliveoil · 14/09/2006 10:26

I wouldn't say she was pathetic, just needed educating.

Do you do exercise?

OP posts:
bunny75 · 14/09/2006 10:26

oh yeah, totally with you on the house....was well nice

Hallgerda · 14/09/2006 10:27

Would she have looked older in an instant had she eaten a prune instead?

Seashells - gosh, there's some actual roughage in those things is there?

desperateSCOUSEwife · 14/09/2006 10:29

they did all look alike didnt they

bunny75 · 14/09/2006 10:29

yeah, guess pathetic was a bit harsh!....excercise other than housework, walking and gardening....must confess, no, not a lot. must get back into a regular swimming regime as its the only thing i really enjoy

bunny75 · 14/09/2006 10:31

she did actually look like a much younger woman facially too....maybe the make up hair and contacts had something to do with it as well as all the vitamins?

desperateSCOUSEwife · 14/09/2006 10:34

her skin looked much healthier too

bunny75 · 14/09/2006 10:39

i think the reduction of carbs probably had loads to do with it....and she never drank anything other than pepsi....they do say water is great for the complexion. Just one thing that has bugged me every time i watch this show......does Gillian's poo smell of flowers, or is no-one's poo meant to smell foul????!!!

themoon66 · 14/09/2006 11:26

How does anyone get to the age of 29 having never eaten a plum?? I thought she was just acting silly for the cameras to be honest.

The house was lovely, I agree.

The only part of that programme I hate is where she starts on with the poo in boxes thing. It's just so intrusive and unneccessary.

bunny75 · 14/09/2006 11:28

absolutely!!

oliveoil · 14/09/2006 11:30

yes, the poo thing is so unnecessary

gross!
