Mind if I join?

I'd like to know who the Playmobil man is who's playing the rather lovely Kyrgios.

Raahh · 02/07/2014 17:34

Playmobil/Vampire man is Miloc Roanic, he's Canadian, got into the top 10 this year.

Happy Canada day! Milos.

Raahh · 02/07/2014 17:35

(ok, that was yesterday)

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:35

That's Milos Raonic Fiderer, young Canadian. I always think of vampires when I see him :)

DoctorTwo · 02/07/2014 17:35

Blimey, it's taken ages to catch up. :o

Fiderer · 02/07/2014 17:36

Thanks Raah. Must keep up.

Really enjoyed last night's game against Nadal - these two look like they're going to serve each other to death.

DelicianoLopez · 02/07/2014 17:36

yes Kraijek was the year of the streaker.

Juan it was in the evening, finished around 8.30pm. they may play again tonight.

invitation matches normally on in the late afternoons/evenings.

would have loved to have been there courtside for that one.

would love to see the ''legends'' at the Albert Hall but tickets cost a bomb.

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:36

Good grief - a rally!

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:38

Thanks for info Deli (do hope you don't mind being shortened!).

MrsVamos · 02/07/2014 17:40

Stan in a bit of trouble.

This flicking is driving me mad !

Fiderer · 02/07/2014 17:43

Blimey, Playmobil man or vampire, his calves are the size of his head. Or is my vision going?

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 02/07/2014 17:43

Good grief - a rally!

I don't believe you.

Raahh · 02/07/2014 17:44

Yup- I kind of expected some big serving in the Kyrgios match.

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:44

Had to be seen to be believed Clay!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 02/07/2014 17:45

Fed, that's mean. Don't make Stan run. He just wants to lie down.

DelicianoLopez · 02/07/2014 17:45

Juan I shorten you too so no probs! Grin.

Lol Fiderer good description of Raonic!

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:47

I think I've decided i want Milos to win. I still remember how little crowd support there was for him in Monte Carlo and I can't really figure out why. He seems calm and hardworking and I've decided i like him! So there.

Raahh · 02/07/2014 17:48

Mac loved Rod laver. He really is his hero, I saw an interview once, where Mac was in tears talking about how Rod influenced him. It was lovely.

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:48

Is Stan suffering then?

MrsVamos · 02/07/2014 17:49

Seems to be going ok for the 2 out on Ct. 1.

I don't know which match to settle on !

OP posts:
MrsVamos · 02/07/2014 17:50

Little bit, Juan.

Think Roger may have this match.

OP posts:
Raahh · 02/07/2014 17:51

Juan- I think we went off him due to that dubious cheating incident against Potato.

But he has really worked his way up the rankings. He's just a bit 'unknown' if you are as obsessed as people like me who watch matches via results pages Grin not a frequent tennis watcher.

Raahh · 02/07/2014 17:52

Blimey- and aced second serve.

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/07/2014 17:55

I also went off him over Delpo - gate, but somehow I've got over it forgiven him. I think the thing about Milos is that his game isn't very interesting and is dominated by his serve, and he is quiet and shy as opposed to being charismatic. But he's the type to grow on you. He's also a very hard worker which I think he doesn't get enough credit for.
