I do have a nice story to offset vileness.

Steffi Graf also used to live locally and one year she was knocked out of Wimbledon very early. My parents were visiting me and we were in the square when she and her friends arrived.

There wasn't the same media interest then but she was going out for dinner and looking a bit self-conscious. People were staring. It's a touristy city so cameras came out.

Then my dad recognised her and gave a tilt of his hat. She acknowledged that with a smile and a small bow and went into the restaurant and my dad stood in the doorway loudly debating where we should eat. For about half an hour.

This match should have been on Centre instead of the semi-final. It's one of the best Leconte matches I've ever seen. They broke Hawkeye.

Yes Rafa, that was one of the funniest things I've seen in years. :o The crowd singing happy birthday to Henri and the champagne drinking was good too. Mansour Bahrahmi has just made me spit beer with that last serve. I am actually crying. :o

The Federer/Raonic game was a hard watch after the first one. At least it ended thank fuck

I so enjoy these invitational doubles matches, they are such fun. I love watching Bahrami & Leconte.

Watched a bit of Goran on the red button too. It was nice to see Ljubicic smiling & messing around - he was always so serious when he was playing.

Leconte served up into the air and onto the roof. Him and Bahrami both challenged it and Hawk eye obviously had no data so it just came back with question marks.

A think you are all a bit behind me. I've just got to the end of it.

The couple of times I saw them at Wimbledon, they were on court 2. After about 6pm they let anyone who has a ground pass on there to watch. I'm guessing they don't do that if it's on Court 1 or centre, which is a shame.
