Ooh, are the fledging? goes to look

LIZS · 28/05/2014 13:03

Getting very close , lots of wing flapping and peering out of the hole.

OddBoots · 28/05/2014 13:03

They are noisy wee things. :)

libertytrainers · 28/05/2014 13:04

is there a link?

OddBoots · 28/05/2014 13:05

Does this work ?

LIZS · 28/05/2014 13:06

love the dynamics . There are 2 or 3 who seem to be trying to persuade each other to have a go ! The rest are pretty laid back.

libertytrainers · 28/05/2014 13:09

oh cute! thanks oddboots

libertytrainers · 28/05/2014 13:14

aw that one really wants to go out

OddBoots · 28/05/2014 13:14

There's one that is really active, isn't there. He or she seems to get knocked over every time a parent bird comes in.

LIZS · 28/05/2014 13:29

You could spend hours just watching ....

OP posts:
LIZS · 28/05/2014 17:51

Preening and fluttering of wings ... apparently the parents are pausing outside with food to try to entice them out.

OP posts:
OddBoots · 28/05/2014 18:42

Grumpy looking little fluffballs.

SnowCoveredHills · 28/05/2014 21:04

I have my very own Blue Tit family waiting to fledge in the garden, they're so noisy, and we can see the little ones peeping out the hole. They do look very grumpy and belligerent, I love them!

OddBoots · 29/05/2014 07:00

I was up ready for the camera to start at 7am but it's not in the nest, it's pointing out so I wonder if they've flown. I can't see them.

OddBoots · 29/05/2014 07:06

Last time I was up this early peering at webcams was many years back when I used to work for a site that reported on Big Brother - seeing Blue Tits fledge is much more interesting than watching Sandy climb a wall to 'escape though. :)

LIZS · 29/05/2014 07:27

maybe they're saving any update for 7:30am show ?

OP posts:
OddBoots · 29/05/2014 07:52

I'm missed that there's a 7.30am show, is that online?

OddBoots · 29/05/2014 07:53

There's someone moving the camera, it focused on a pigeon.

libertytrainers · 29/05/2014 07:54

where are they? there's a large waddling pidgeon in their place

OddBoots · 29/05/2014 08:03

Ooh, on the red button there is a view of a fledgeling blue tit with its head out so they haven't gone yet.

libertytrainers · 29/05/2014 08:08

oh yes found them on the telly thanks.

kazzawazzawoo · 29/05/2014 08:13

Aw, one of them looked like he was about to fly then!

libertytrainers · 29/05/2014 08:16

ooh the baby rabbit! what happened to theothers am late to this?!

OddBoots · 29/05/2014 08:33

The other baby rabbits have all been eaten by birds, just that one left.

LIZS · 29/05/2014 09:02

Still there ! poor baby bunnies :(
