I'm finding Sonia really irritating. They're trying to bring her across as the sophisticated nurse who did well, but she's ending up looking like a granny with her wardrobe. Yes, Phil knows. When Shirley was pissed the other week, she told him her son hated her or something so he said he'd sort it. He went to deano's shop and deano said he'd talk to her if she said sorry. Phil went back to Shirley and told her to start with sorry with her son. She runs out the door mumbling sorry and Phil follows. She goes to vic, holds mick's face in her hands and says sorry. Phil is open mouthed

Carol deserves to be lonely and miserable the way she pushed David away. I suppose when she thought he'd run off it reminded her of all the other times, but you'd think a heart attack was a good enough excuse.

I guess the point was that she realised she didn't trust him. The fact that it was a genuine reason this time didn't matter, the distrust was there and her first thought was that he'd bailed. Not a great basis for a relationship.
