Funny, just watching on catch up and this thread at the same time. I love people who have high standards and are ambitious. 25 years old that chef and he KNOWS what he wants. I am impressed by that, so few people care that much. Yes the food waste was eye watering and I truly hope off screen that food is used as it should be. I don't go to many top restaurants but I thought the food looked great, really interesting. The contestants did so well. Looking forward to the next half :)

I think I heard a rumour that he will take over Masterchef The Professionals now that Michel Roux has decided to leave (). I wondered if appearing tonight and tomorrow was a sign that this was true.

Michel Roux is far too chipper, and the puppy dog eyes are so irritating.
