Weirdly I only got into this last season. Watched one episode and got hooked! Fortunately E4 have been showing the earlier episodes so I'm catching up. I thought I'd hate it but it's so compelling. All they do is shag each other, cheat on each other, break up and gossip about each other. It's a fantastic soap opera and all the girls have amazing swishy hair!

Excited about the new series, anyone else?

E.g. Are these real relationships? Is there a script? Are they actors improvising or 'ordinary ' people? So many questions........

The relationships are real and theres no script. However they are put in situations (meeting for a drink etc) and they are given what subject to talk about.

Pretty sure Binky and Alex will get back together judging by their twitter page they recently went to Paris together.

Emma is like one of those china franklin mint dolls.

Louise is utterly obsessed with Spencer. Her brother doesn't seem to have any redeeming features.

Binky is a crap crier, not a tear in sight. She won't leave him, he's played this very cleverly. "I've shagged someone else but it's all not going to be so nice now so I am off!" He's completely blind sided her, she will be so scared of losing him so will suppress her feelings to Keep Things Nice.

Stephanie was brilliant but I was when she got tearful at the end.
I am interested to see what effect The Terminator will have on The Group.

This is backtracking but I'm currently watching the earlier series in the mornings and just saw the episode when Francis surprised Sophia at the Xmas party. Was so romantic! I wonder what happens to them, they seemed like a lovely couple. Also now get why people call Louise 'Tiny Tears', she cries at everything..! There was one scene when she comes up to him at a party ( after she'd just been talking to Jamie) and she bursts into tears. He says, what have I done now, I'm just standing here having a glass of red wine! It was hilarious! Am enjoying learning about their back stories, the current series makes more sense to me now ( only got into it in the last series...)

I have actually learnt quite a lot about men from watching MIC. Just how opportunistic they are, don't take responsibility for their behaviour with women and their stupid lying 'bro code'. Fascinating...

I don't think it's fair to tar all men with the same brush. However, exes of mine that attended public school were totally misogynistic.

The MIC boys surpassed themselves last week in terms of objectification though, with Biscuits saying he missed being in a relationship because he didn't have a ' thing' in bed with him, and Spencer calling Riley 'That' when she walked away from him and Louise.

I hate all of them apart from Binky. I watch it avidly :D

Squoosh, but they're all rich! I really don't get what the women see in him. At all. But I find it fascinating how he reacts when he gets called on his bad behaviour. He acts all affronted and outraged and defensive even though he's totally in the wrong. I found it really interested in one of his arguments with Louise when he said, how can I respect you when you've allowed me to cheat on you? Wow! Just no sense of taking responsibility for his actions and pushing to see how much he can get away with...

Certain women love that wannabee alpha male type thing he does. I don't actually think he is an alpha, just pretending to be one.

And I hate to say it, but lots of women will find him physically attractive.

He appears in control and has that first stage charm down pat. And Caggie was the only one who got that he'd treat them so badly after sleeping together.

He does that love you thing eg Lucy so well. Then, what were you thinking and dumps them.

They can't see it, unless they watch him on tv that is.

Emma was hilarious last night, I thought sparks were going to fly out of her circuit board.

I do wonder how they feel when they watch it back afterwards, you'd think it would help them to become more self aware but with some of them it's not working...
