Weirdly I only got into this last season. Watched one episode and got hooked! Fortunately E4 have been showing the earlier episodes so I'm catching up. I thought I'd hate it but it's so compelling. All they do is shag each other, cheat on each other, break up and gossip about each other. It's a fantastic soap opera and all the girls have amazing swishy hair!

Excited about the new series, anyone else?

Jeez Louise with her Spencer fixation, it's verging on painful.

I agree this series is a bit quiet thus far. Def missing the Phoebe's drama and Francis' quips.

I watched this for the first time last night.

I was really confused. This is the first time I have ever watched this kind of reality drama programme.

Binky seemed genuinely upset that Alex had cheated on her as though that really was the first time that she had heard about what was going on. On the other hand there was this whole thing about Cheska only being able to do the reveal at the birthday party which didn't make sense.

All the other couples looked as though they were on an episode of Blind Date with Cilla.

What is going on?

Basically mic seems to be filmed round what spencer does and his love life

S1 dumps his yr long girlfriend and caggie on the scene - then Louise and they keep bringing back his ex's like Sophia who then gets it together with another mic

Why did Hugo leave? First few series were Hugo and Spencer and now in s4and 5 Jamie is his best mate - even though whoever jam?e likes spencer goes after

Poor JAMIE has no one - tho did have Louise and binky but didn't work out then he goes after Lucy who gets it together with spencer look alike Steve who I assume LOUISE is with /snogged via the trailers so isn't with spencer anymore but as till watching old lot havnt seen 7 yet

I also felt for whatserhername um the blonde American. My mind has gone blank. She was so upset. But it was just ages after the fact and it didn't help her really.

Louise has got a screw loose. She really has. She's all pally pally with Spanner again and when Stephanie called him out on his misogynistic cheating ways, all Louise could do was smirk at her! Not him. Her! I really think she has some deep-rooted internal misogyny going on herself.

These boys of MIC are children. By 25 they should have the emotional maturity of how to treat people in healthy relationships. I wanted to smack Spencer when he was saying he didn't have the emotional maturity - that's not being sorry; that's a sound bite from his "psychologist".

I am totally hooked, but still don't really 'get' the premise of the show! Blush

E.g. Are these real relationships? Is there a script? Are they actors improvising or 'ordinary ' people? So many questions..........

It's fascinating stuff, whatever!
