Weirdly I only got into this last season. Watched one episode and got hooked! Fortunately E4 have been showing the earlier episodes so I'm catching up. I thought I'd hate it but it's so compelling. All they do is shag each other, cheat on each other, break up and gossip about each other. It's a fantastic soap opera and all the girls have amazing swishy hair!

Excited about the new series, anyone else?

Just caught up. Best line of the series so far was Lucy to Jamie - "you're not stupid". Oh Lucy, oh Lucy. You're talking to a man who, in series 2, forgot the word for a window.

That aside, I am shuddering too at Alex's creepy attempts to win Binky back. She's going to kick herself with her new Ginas at some point.

Looking forward to next week's little love triangle between Fran, Louise and the new chap. What a choice for him. Will he go for crazy eyes or leaky ones?

MintyChops · 03/06/2014 23:10

Bwahahahah HolyDrinker, crazy eyes or leaky eyes.....

Wish Binky would cop the fuck on and ditch Lego.

AppleYumYum · 03/06/2014 23:54

God that episode made me mad, Spencer saying he bought Binky some bloody flowers, champagne and took her for dinner and all is forgiven for the orgy at his place with her crappy boyfriend. Why do they forgive him when he has just flashed his credit card to wow them, that's not exactly hard for him or putting himself out ffs!

Then watching Binky justifying the easy route of being around Louise who just likes it that someone else is treading the path she took with Spencer, and Rosie who is a stealth biatch and gets a kick out of just agreeing with whoever she is with and then setting everyone against each other. I hate Rosie, insipid pasty looking cow, especially now having watched all the earlier series and the stuff with Hugo and Milly. Anyway, like Lucy said the episode before, if they were her true friends they wouldn't be cheering on another attempt with leaning tower of Lego hair.

I know some of it is set up but that fight looked pretty real, Cheska looked crushed, she can be intense but I think she just has her morals and sticks to them, her heart is in the right place.

Is Proudlock not in it anymore?? Noooooo! He's my crush, I'd totally go there...

HolyDrinker · 04/06/2014 06:59

I know apple. Everyone seems to be glossing over the fact that this weren't no simple "hook up". He had AN ORGY. WITH SPENCER. That is possible the grossest thing imaginable. How can she let him anywhere near her? I hope she's making him dip his cock in bleach on a nightly basis. And getting herself tested.

slalomsuki · 04/06/2014 10:32

I agree, they seem to have glossed over the incident with spencer and Alex and are more concerned about scoring points off each other. I hate the fact that when they talk they all talk over each other and get louder and louder without listening. I know its set up and they have to get it all done in a particular time but some listening would go far.
Bet Fran was in a difficult position, doesn't she live with Binky and would have already seen that her and Alex were bak together and how it is really going.

HolyDrinker · 04/06/2014 12:19

Ah, yes, but Fran is officially mad. As demonstrated by her fetish for an absurd beanie hat.

I should feel sorry for cheska, but the cynic in me thinks she's one who loves a bit of drama. She only seems to appear when things are going wrong. Binkie is being right tit though, I agree.

I adore Lucy. She ace. You know, for an automaton.

PeanutPatty · 04/06/2014 13:41

Trouble with Binky is that she hates herself for still loving Alex despite him being a complete manwhore and knowing that she should dump him. She also knows that if it were anyone else in her shoes she would advise to bin him and so is projecting that self loathing on to her friends.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 04/06/2014 19:53

Really getting sick of this shit. And wtf with the baseball caps ? I can't even conjure up and witty thoughts. Bring back Boulle.

sheldonesque · 04/06/2014 20:27

You are probably right peanut but how I wish she wouldn't project it onto Lucy.

Rosie would be ideal. Grin

NickiFury · 04/06/2014 20:28

I actually cannot think of a three way tug of love that inspires me less than Fran, Louise and Whatshisface.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 04/06/2014 20:30

Ha ha ha tiny tears shorts . Like a giant lampshade.

Only1scoop · 04/06/2014 20:32

Cannot bare Louise's brother I need to punch him....Confused

lovelychops · 04/06/2014 21:16

I saw a candy kittens book in the food section of my library. No one had took it out, I checked!

sheldonesque · 04/06/2014 22:13

Tinytears my love, I do love the fact that you tried to act as the voice of reason during that fight but you failed miserably in your role of mediator.

Binky would do well at the moment to take her parting piece of advice to Cheska and apply it to herself.

The snidey way that she came over and said 'I thought I'd come over to your little huddle'. And the continuous declarations of 'I'm going through a lot of shit'. All of your own making dearie. All of your own making.

No. I'm not liking Binky. Can you tell?

Still, the lady moultings she must've found in Mitten's fringe have been put to a lovely use. It must have taken hours to glue them to his chin. (sorry nicky)

(loved Fran's grin at the end - she looked just like Cruella de Vil!)

PeanutPatty · 04/06/2014 23:08

Worst of all is that Alex doesn't really want to be with her anyway! He just thinks he should. He's never sincere. Proper sly and absolutely nothing genuine about him at all.

NickiFury · 04/06/2014 23:17

Alex knows he is only in MIC now because of Binks. If he wasn't seeing her he'd have been turfed out at the end of last series. He knows this. It's not Binks he's worried about losing it's his meal ticket and his chance to raise the profile of his "DJ-ing".......Hmm

He's just not likeable like Biscuits and Spenny, who are also complete idiots but at least fairly up front about it not like Sly Alex.

I wonder if Binks is so angry at Cheska because she told her on camera rather than in private. I would be but Binks can hardly say that because it's supposed to be "reality".

Trillions · 04/06/2014 23:25

I have seen Candy Kittens stuff in TK Maxx. And not one of the posh branches either Grin

sheldonesque · 04/06/2014 23:46

He is sleekit - that is for sure. Even if he did initially want to stay with Binky, I doubt that he would stay for long with her calling him dickhead every two minutes. He fully deserves it of course but he won't put up with it.

The next time he goes wandering he will blame Binky for driving him to it.

AppleYumYum · 05/06/2014 00:01

Did anyone hear Lucy say "derrrr I'm not a robot" to Jamie, wonder if that was a nod to Lucybot from that funny badtv blog. Wonder if she still does it... off to Google!

AppleYumYum · 05/06/2014 00:20

Oh no I think she has stopped writing them, devastating Confused I used to get a stitch from laughing so hard at her episode recaps! For those who haven't read them here is the last one I think on the Christmas special: chbadtv.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/made-in-chelsea-series-6-episode-12-i.html?m=1

Rizzlekicks · 05/06/2014 01:38

Sam's party - elaborate please. What was he holding a party for and why did he feature for all of 3 seconds? Was it a genuine party - very strange indeed...

PeanutPatty · 05/06/2014 16:40

I didn't see him at all! He'll be ditched next series.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 05/06/2014 19:48

I'm so upset that Jamie's bank manager hasn't appeared yet.

slalomsuki · 06/06/2014 09:12

Spencer's therapist was short lived too and not sure had much impact.

AppleYumYum · 07/06/2014 12:29

He probably hooked up with her and now she's in therapy Hmm
