maybe cos he got the monkey off his back with all the pressure and then won the Olympics/US open and Wimbly he feels hes done enough and doesn't need to prove himself any more?

or maybe cos the media are never satisfied and STILL go on at him to win more, and hes forever bridesmaid to Rog/Raf/and Djoko and maybe that pees him off?

LetZygonsbeZygons · 05/04/2014 15:43

Andy I mean, not Ross! Maybe Ross isn't still 100% to put so much energy into a match? wheres Jamie though?

JuanPotatoTwo · 05/04/2014 16:31

Why has Ross been dropped, did they say?

magimedi · 05/04/2014 16:56

Did anyone see any of the Roger/Stan doubles that they lost to Khasakstan (sp?) ?

Am amazed they lost!

Raahh · 05/04/2014 17:23

Juan- i imagine the ddn't wan to risk losing the rubber, and Murray was match fit having just won. I haven't had chance to watch any- was he still as stroppy as last night?

OP posts:
magimedi · 05/04/2014 17:34

Not nearly as stroppy as when playing singles - he was actually very controlled.

Which shows he can do it!!

Looking forward to him v Foggnini tomorrow!

I meant to watch Fognini /Murray and forgot. Sad

So- there will be a deciding rubber? And Murray can't play again. I think our chances in this tie are slim.

I love the way the ATP site describes- '9-times champion, Great Britain'

Last time we won was 1936Grin

Deciding rubber it is!

Fognini played some amazing tennis - he basically walked all over Murray!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/04/2014 14:06

I can't see us winning this, really. Looks like Seppi is going to walk all over Ward too.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/04/2014 14:07

Or maybe I've spoken too soon...

Raahh · 06/04/2014 14:18

Somebody has to hold their service game in this set.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/04/2014 14:18

Nooo. Rain.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/04/2014 14:35

Sun looks like it's out again.

Raahh · 06/04/2014 14:36

Speedy rain break.

It's a very beautiful setting for a court Envy

I was thinking that. Right on the beach, with a gorgeous view.

Maybe we need to move Wimbledon.

Damn. First set to Seppi.

Raahh · 06/04/2014 15:20

Seppi seems quite comfortable now.

OP posts:
HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/04/2014 15:36

Not sure Ward is good enough to come back from two sets down against Seppi.

Talking of beautiful settings, the Swiss living part of my family are keep posting pictures of Spring walks in the mountains on my FB. It's making me very very [green].

Raahh · 06/04/2014 16:28

Well, no semi final for GB.

And I bet Switzerland expected an easier tie than they've had!

Mama1980 · 06/04/2014 16:33

Not a good tennis day Hmm been out all day and hoped to see we had at least put up a fight, though I understand ward fought hard the last set.
Oh well Smile

DramaAlpaca · 06/04/2014 16:43

That was all very disappointing Sad

magimedi · 06/04/2014 17:41

Very boring match!

Rafa - my DS lives in the French Alps & we go there every summer - it is indeed stunning!
