Ferrer's birthday today Raahh, best you send him birthday wishes :). Are you feeling better?

I think that was an April Fool too Drama.

Raahh · 02/04/2014 13:06

oooh- Happy Birthday, David!

Juan - I'm feeling a bit better, thanks- but totally knackered. I have also been swigging gaviscon- I have only ever had heartburn when pregnant. (which I am not Grin)I'm not sleeping very well though, so just feel a bit washed out. The dcs have been really good, and dh has tweaked all his work hours to do various pick ups and drop offs- which they don't mind because he did 2 extra days last week.

I need to be ok- school holidays start Friday - can't face it if I'm under the weather!

2 weeks asleep woud be nice!

Yep, it was an April Fool. I've been had Grin Blush

Happy birthday David Ferrer & hope you'll feel better soon, Raahh.

JuanPotatoTwo · 02/04/2014 15:23

Raahh - nothing worse than feeling under the weather when you can't hide under the duvet. Hopefully, you can have a quiet week and recuperate for the hols. Your dh sounds ace. I can't remember if I've said this on here before but my ds1, who was a very sensible eater anyway, started to suffer badly from heartburn from the age of about 16. He used to go through Gaviscon like nobody's business - and it's not exactly cheap. He ended up on some prescription medication which he really didn't want to take as it was strong stuff. Anyway (there is a point to me divulging ds's medical history, promise!) since he's a Djok fan, I bought him Djok's book for Xmas. After reading it, he decided he had nothing to lose so gave up gluten - and hey presto - after about ten to fourteen days - no more indigestion/heartburn. He does struggle a bit being a poor student, but by and large, he's stayed off it and feels a whole heap better.

Raahh · 02/04/2014 19:15

Juan- that's amazing! I'm wondering if mine was triggered by taking migraleve, it's one of the side effects- and it's years since I last took it. I don't usually take it, but the headache part of the migraine seemed different.

This afternoon I feel much better. So, I should be ok by the weekend.

If you're swigging gaviscon, I'd go to the GP and get some omeprazole. I get a short course a couple of times a year, then it keeps it away completely for a while.

Raahh · 02/04/2014 20:18

Thanks Rafa- I'm due an appointment next week, so I will mention it then.

Hi, I don't like there being no tennis on :(. Andy supposedly suffering from gastroenteritis so not attending his press commitments today.

Mama1980 · 04/04/2014 11:10

Me neither but Davis cup on today Juan- we are saved! Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 04/04/2014 11:29

Are they showing DavisvCup anywhere does anyone know? It's not on TennisTv.

Mama1980 · 04/04/2014 12:06

It's on Eurosport and will be on bbc2 later (only GB matches) but the GB v Italy match has been rain delayed due to start on court at about 12.30 according to Eurosport they are just running replays at the moment.

Mama1980 · 04/04/2014 14:30

1 set a piece between fognini and ward, ward is playing great Smile

JuanPotatoTwo · 04/04/2014 14:58

Thanks Mama, watching it in bbc2 now.

hugoagogo · 04/04/2014 18:09

I love murray and his vest. Smile

Mama1980 · 04/04/2014 18:18

Well ward lost but at least he made a fight of it.
Let's hope Murray can win, though they just said it won't finish tonight.

magimedi · 04/04/2014 20:20

Gawd- Murray really pisses me off when he goes into the muttering & munting mode.

Has no one ever told him to go & see a sports phsycologist?

DH was (jokingly ?) saying that maybe Johnnie Mac would be the best coach for him!!!!!!!!!

The state of the courts in Naples is another thing - I am amazed that there were not more complaints!

JuanPotatoTwo · 04/04/2014 21:25

Andy does himself no favours sometimes. I think his on-court muttering and mumbling etc was something Lendl worked on with him, and he does seem better these days. Be interesting to see if the bad habits creep up on him again now. Bit shocking that Stan lost his match.

magimedi · 04/04/2014 22:18

Didn't see Stan's match, but was also a bit amazed at his loss.

If Andy were my son he'd be sent to bed with no dinner!!

Such immature behaviour.

Was mummy Judy there?

Raahh · 04/04/2014 22:24

Don't let me rant about Murray's poor attitude. Because I will, you knowGrin. Grin

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 04/04/2014 22:28

Go on, you know you want to.

Raahh · 04/04/2014 22:58

No- i didn't see what set him off today- so i will wait to see what he does next...because it won't be the only time. Grin

He's probably armed with a lot of rackets Grin

The Murray/Seppi match is continued on BBC2 at 9.30 this morning.

Diamondcassis · 05/04/2014 10:30

Anyone watching? I have house of sleeping teens, bliss.

magimedi · 05/04/2014 11:49

Amazing how Murray suddenly upped the level in those two last games.

I so wish he would stop thew mini tantrums.

Raahh · 05/04/2014 14:49

I feel sorry for Ross Hutchins - he has been dropped from the doubles.
