Thanks. Good memory. I forget stuff about a day after Smile

wigglesrock · 27/03/2014 11:22

I think it might revolve around Coral too. I'm not sure about the cannibalism thing, think it might be a bit more culty, repopulating etc.

The gang that Darryl is with - do they know about Terminus? I can't remember. I just think they're being led to Terminus, I mean I know they're following the signs on the tracks, but I can't shake the feeling that someone in one of the groups knows more about it than they're letting on?

PreciousBane thanks for the pm btw Wink

Tallalime · 27/03/2014 11:27

I was just distracted by the fact that Mary is Tasha Yar from Star Trek.

I am pretty certain that Terminus is cannibals. I don't think Beth is there though. They released details of the new characters this season aaaaages ago (Abe, Eugene etc) and one of them was a priest or a vicar or something and I'm pretty certain we've not seen him yet.

They did have a Bub zombie (from Day of the Dead) in the tunnel though, which made me Grin

MoominsYonisAreScary · 27/03/2014 12:24

Yes wiggle, they said something to Darryl about terminus not taking in people like them

BlueFrenchHorn · 27/03/2014 13:07

precious I've seen the road - depressing isn't it!

I would love the new gang to try and "claim" michonne. She would beat the shit out of them and decapitate them all ha!

BlueFrenchHorn · 27/03/2014 13:11

I don't think beth is on the bbq - she's a main cast member. If she were to die she'd have a proper death scene - like T Dog, Lori, Dale etc.

I'm guessing terminus is a religious cult place for mass suicide. I know the whole cannibalism thing is a plot line in the comics but I'm not sure how it would work in the programme. Surely the likes of Rick, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Daryl etc could easily kill a bunch of (non walker) loons?

BlueFrenchHorn · 27/03/2014 13:12

Unless they hold them prisoner under false pretence? Trick them somehow?

MoominsYonisAreScary · 27/03/2014 13:15

Im going for some type of religious baby farm, where they kill and eat anyone too old to reproduce Grin

MoominsYonisAreScary · 27/03/2014 13:19

I wish id taped this season so I could go over them all

happybubblebrain · 27/03/2014 13:28

I thought it was the most shocking episode they've done. Really sad and sick. I didn't really understand why Carole had to kill her, couldn't they have just left her there? I don't know how anyone can shoot a child in the back, even a very dangerous one. That was the most shocking part. If they'd left her there she probably would have died, but they wouldn't have had to do it. Great acting all round though.

The Road is the saddest film I've ever seen, I couldn't stop crying throughout.

AWimbaWay · 27/03/2014 14:03

Dh watched The Road the other night, I refused to watch it as I'd heard how depressing it was, poor Dh still hasn't recovered!

This is stuff I read is in the graphic novels, so could contain spoilers if you don't want to know.

There is a place called Sanctuary in the graphic novels, it is ran by a group who call themselves The Saviours. They sound a lot like the group of men Daryl has found him self mixed up with, as well as being very cult like. One of the main characters is killed by them but I won't say which on here!

Spero · 27/03/2014 14:18

I think not shooting her would have been really cruel. She was bound to die on her own, but she would have died alone and very frightened. So I think it was the right thing to do, albeit very hard.

The Road is without doubt the bleakest, harshest thing i have ever seen on a screen.

hoppingmad · 27/03/2014 14:23

Pm me the character please! I have the 1st two volumes but they are still untouched as I haven't had time to read them, don't even know how far they go up to

Midori1999 · 27/03/2014 14:37

AWimbaWay, (possible comic spoilers) I haven't read the comics, but I have spend a pathetic amount of time looking online... Grin and I thought the group Daryl are with were the marauders from the comics? Also, that the new male character who will appear in the finale is possibly related to the saviours or a 'mash up' of several characters from the comics? I think the producers have said that the leader of the saviours would appear in the series but not yet and I wonder if they'll feature in season 5?

Midori1999 · 27/03/2014 14:38

Hoppingmad, you can find the character they kill online if you google 'saviours walking dead comics'. Although you may then get other info on them.

CheerfulYank · 27/03/2014 14:45

Not shooting her would have been terrible...what if she'd gotten picked up by Daryl's gang (minus Daryl) with the "little ones don't last long" comment?

CheerfulYank · 27/03/2014 14:46

I'd bet the farm that it's Carl who's going to end up being "claimed".

AmberLeaf · 27/03/2014 14:47

Moomins if you want to watch old episodes, have a look on moviestorm.eu

Ive been watching the whole lot on there and they have all episodes back to season 1.

My one thought about Terminus is, being as it's relatively small, and given the troubles Rick's group had in defending their own 'safe haven' - why would the residents of Terminus advertise its presence and encourage people to come

That's what I thought too, I also thought it odd that they all just walked in, no locks or barricades, which goes against everything we have seen so far.

rallytog1 · 27/03/2014 15:17

Cheerfulyank I think you're correct. I also suspect the nature of the attempted claiming may be particularly awful Sad

limitedperiodonly · 27/03/2014 15:28

Why do you think that cheerfulyank?

I suppose if they realise he's Rick's son and that Rick is the one who outsmarted them. Then yes, it would be bad.

Did they see Rick? I mentioned before that I keep forgetting stuff. Can someone remind me if they just beat up Daryl's tormentor or beat him to death?

CheerfulYank · 27/03/2014 16:02

Because Carl was almost raped in the comics and Kirkman has said this episode will push Rick to the breaking point or something along those lines.

Daryl's tormentor is dead. One of the band saw Rick and will recognize him.

CheerfulYank · 27/03/2014 16:04

Kris Kristofferson much older looking now but you're right, very like him a few years back. The actor playing Joe is named Jeff something.

AWimbaWay · 27/03/2014 16:16

One of them saw Rick limited, and they beat Daryl's tormentor to death.
