Just watched last nights and why has Jane come back?

Why is no one mentioning that Cindy is 15 an therefore tech rape?

Strange that carls mum suddenly decides to come go the square - just as mitchell sisters are back

And still Amy is silent !!!! Wink

How about Carl? His body was never actually found was it so maybe he didn't get crushed?

Also I think it was him that gave Roxy coke before so maybe he was Lucy's dealer? And he had issues with Ian

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/04/2014 11:40

Def must have something to do with bump on head - I said it before but in the cabin max asked if she was ok and lucyreplied - along the lines I will live / it won't kill me ,...,,,

Tho now handy to have an undertaker in the square as Lucy is dead !!!!

Denise is now trapped - not sure why she ever went out with Ian as obv didn't love him

Blondes I have never thought Denise and Ian were a good match either. In EE they don't ever meet anyone outside the Square though so both their choices were rather limited.

GarlicAprilShowers · 19/04/2014 14:38

cocaine use makes it more likely that you'll die from a haemorrhage

Oh, that makes sense, Diesel. The BBC has quite carefully said "what killed her" and "who's responsible" instead of "who killed her". It's looking like the emerging story of Lucy's despair will shake some of the characters (Ian) out of their deluded bubbles, leading to the "dark era" in the Beales' life - I did wonder when they ever had a bright era??! They've promised Adam Woodyatt a marvellous platform to show his acting strength, so this is going to be a pivotal point in his character development.

IRL, you can find a coke dealer in London just by scratching your nose and looking twitchy, but EE might lever Lucy's habit to show a hitherto unseen underside of daily life in Psychopath Square. I hope so

OwlCapone · 19/04/2014 18:06

But how can a haemorrhage from cocaine use be strung out til February?

mileysorearse · 19/04/2014 18:33

Haven't they said in the trailer showing a lot of the cast that there is a "killer amongst them"? I took that to mean murder.

OwlCapone · 19/04/2014 18:40

Me too.

FantaSea · 19/04/2014 18:43

Wouldn't the haemorrhage show on the post mortem though?

handfulofcottonbuds · 19/04/2014 19:09

Just throwing it out there but Patsy Palmer is leaving EE. Maybe she was angry at Lucy taking Whitney's BF?

The trailer does say there is a killer amongst them and they have said EE will never be the same again which indicates a major character being involved.

Does anyone else feel freaked out by the trailer? Especially Lauren's eyes. Scares me!

GarlicAprilShowers · 19/04/2014 19:25

Yes, a haemorrhage would be found at the post-mortem. So would cocaine. But that doesn't show "who's responsible" does it? The funeral's next month, not next year!

I've only just realised Tina McIntyre's due to die, too (Corrie.) Good. She's astoundingly beautiful, but the character's a pain in the arse.

GarlicAprilShowers · 19/04/2014 19:27

... Lucy's ding on the head could have been a red herring, though. Good lord, I need to think about something else Hmm

handfulofcottonbuds · 19/04/2014 19:33

Lucy's bang on the head will put Max in the frame as it will show that she injured herself at the car lot. I think that's why it happened as it seemed a bit random at the time.

GarlicAprilShowers · 19/04/2014 19:45

Yes, that allows Ian to find out about Max shagging Lucy. God, he's a creep!

I've just remembered Steven Beale - he's got motive and form. It would be a highly random re-introduction, though. Mind you, if Nick Cotton can come back as the undead, anything's possible Wink

handfulofcottonbuds · 19/04/2014 19:49

I'm sure the whole timing of Nick Cotton has something to do with it as PPs said. In fact, it all seems quite random and a bit messy with introducing new characters but I'm sure all will become clear............in 10 flipping months!

SilveryMoon · 19/04/2014 21:11

Didn't they say the door was being left open for Bianca to return. Doesn't sound like she's a murderer.
I'll be really disappointed if she wasn't directly murdered

handfulofcottonbuds · 19/04/2014 21:28

Janine's murdered lots of people and she keeps returning.

I need a life

Kaluki · 19/04/2014 21:47

Bobby is Ians son.
Ian was married to Laura who had a one night stand with Gary. She got pregnant and told Ian it was his but he had had a vasectomy so he threw her out so she told Gary it must be his. Then Laura died and Ian found out that bobby could be his as a vasectomy isn't 100% reliable until a certain length of time has passed and did DNA tests and accepted Bobby as his own!

I think the writers should have developed Lucy's character earlier. I think the drug taking should have been revealed earlier, as well as her insecurity etc..

I am hoping it is one of the main characters - someone like Phil or Sharon, but then I can't think of any motive either of them would have. Phil does hate Ian, but killing his daughter seems a bit extreme.

DieselSpillages · 20/04/2014 13:25

Maybe max is the coke dealer. He always seems to have a lot of cash for a secondhand car dealer. He bought Tanya Booty, he keeps a shag pad etc. maybe that's how he encountered Carl and kirsty.

GarlicAprilShowers · 20/04/2014 13:26

Oh, Diesel, that's a thought!

LeftyLoony · 20/04/2014 13:45

I think there's sense in the Nick Cotton theory. After all he committed the first murder in the very first episode and the reveal coincides with the 30th anniversary. Maybe he's Lucy's dealer?

Blondeshavemorefun · 20/04/2014 14:02

Did Jane know Ian had a vasectomy before she got shot and lost her womb?

Max does seen to have a lot of money for a 2nd car dealer with 2 ex wives plus Kirsty plus kids plus shag pad

Can't see how they can bring nick into it but this is ee !!!!!!

And tbh nick isn't a main character - or that close to Ian

Betrayal or guilt or an accident or a huge mistake by whoever did it

OP posts:
mileysorearse · 20/04/2014 14:28

I don't see why they have to have a main character as the dealer, they live in the east end so not exactly hard to get hold of.

SilveryMoon · 20/04/2014 14:30

Hmm. The more I think about it the more I'm swaying towards nick. There was all that with dot asking Ian to write the speech and everything and then ian's outburst about nick that his 'son' heard etc.
