Prob been done before as Friends is like a guzzillion years old now but the other day I saw the one where Estelle dies.

AFAIK Phoebe never met or spoke to Estelle so how did she know how she sounded? also, Joeys phone would have had Phoebes name on the caller ID.

Yes its a Saturday night and theres nothing on tv!

loadsa moments. anyone get bugbeared or just think 'its only a programme' and just enjoy it?
its a terrible habit of mine to nitpick!

In the one where Monica and chandler meet the lady who gives them her baby(ies) she gives them a scan picture but when she gives birth it's a big surprise that it's twins!

I got confused about the chandler telling Monica he loves her for the first time twice but the second time (when phoebe and Rachel are there it's not meant to be the first time it's just the others didn't realise.

cogitosum · 02/03/2014 20:14

Phoebe's brother appears earlier as a teenager getting his condom back from phoebe's guitar case when she's busking.

NuggetofPurestGreen · 02/03/2014 20:24

But the different actors playing same parts/same actors playing different parts aren't mistakes, that happens all the time in American TV shows. So the teenage presumably wasn't supposed to be Phoebe's brother just they liked the actor and invited him back (or something).

cogitosum · 02/03/2014 20:25

Oh I know was just showing off my newfound knowledge (I watched that episode the other day).

LetZygonsbeZygons · 03/03/2014 16:53

Isabella rosselinni saying '5 goofy coffee house guys'. well, 1-there are 3 guys in the group and 2-If I was one of the guys that would have offended me calling me goofy!!!!

and the 3 years earlier one (both eps were on yesterday) Rachel and Chandler in the bar yet they've never met before yet later they were together at the Gellers etc.

Gaaaah!

IHeartKingThistle · 03/03/2014 17:12

No she says 5 goofy coffee house guys because he says he gets to sleep with 5 celebrities!

LetZygonsbeZygons · 04/03/2014 19:05

If they've been out somewhere eg-a restaurant and they come in the apartment and THEN say 'thanks for the meal' or 'sorry you spilled wine on your shirt' or something. what? no convo between the rezzy and the apartment?

and the lights are always on when they enter a room!

The scene where Phoebe is waiting outside her father's house, trying to summon up the courage to go in. She can't get past the dog, so gets back into the cab. You then see the dog jumping up and down outside and trying to get in through the window. But the woman crouched beside the cab holding the dog in place is very visible!

MyNameIsKenAdams · 07/03/2014 06:58

Monica and Chandler didnt know they had twins yet manage to bring them home (the same day they are born!) In a double buggy.

MyNameIsKenAdams · 07/03/2014 06:59

The apartment door is never locked. Except for that thanksgiving.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 08/03/2014 17:37

they showed the one with the noisy guy upstairs.

one episode and he was never heard again!

it's the Ross Birthday Thingthat bugs me....they have TOW they all turn thirty...well Monica and Ross were not born in the same year surely??

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2014 18:48

no youre right. In the flashback ones werent ross anf chandler in college while rachel and Monica were in high school?

StealthPolarBear · 08/03/2014 18:49

Suppose that doesnt mean they couldnt have been bbotn in same cale dar yr but as you say for brother and sister unusual surely

Misslaughalot · 08/03/2014 18:52

Isn't the one where they all turn thirty more of a clip type episode, where there's scenes from lots of different times?

Somersaults · 08/03/2014 18:53

But TOW they all turn thirty was done in flashbacks to all of their birthday, I just assumed some jumped further back in time than others. They didn't all have to be in the same year.

CocoBandicoot · 08/03/2014 19:34

Thought of another one... when Monica and Pete are going out for the first time, they're clearly going for either lunch or dinner. They discuss having pizza and Pete says "I know a great little place". In the time it takes to fly from New York to Italy, it can't be either lunch time OR dinner time when they arrive!

Also, not 100% sure on this, but I think when Pete says "I know a great little place", he and Monica then head for the stairs. Why would he let her do that, knowing that she would need to get her passport?

Somersaults · 09/03/2014 22:20

When Carol feels the baby move for the first time both Ross and Susan can feel it kicking too. Granted I am not an expert but I can feel my baby moving inside but feel nothing outside yet!

LetZygonsbeZygons · 18/03/2014 17:44

Mike and Ross when Rachel and phoebe go out.

theyre bored to death. I know it made for a funny scene but in a rl scenario theyd have maybe put a dvd on of Die Hard or something to save conversation!

Monica is contrary. Rachel asks her what she would be hoping to wear if hoping to sleep with Joshua for the first time and she replies that choosing someone else's sex clothes creeps her out. Yes the same Monica who asks for help in choosing lingerie for her and chandlers valentines night.

Joeys seven sisters annoy me. Where's the teen one that gets knocked up by her teen boyfriend in the episode where chandler can't remember which sister? We would have spotted her as she'd have been around 11 years old.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 19/03/2014 17:59

and didn't Joey have another sister on his series Joey?

he always said he has 7 sisters.

OP posts:
YourMaNoBraBackOfMyCar · 19/03/2014 18:43

I absolutely hated that series.

LetZygonsbeZygons · 19/03/2014 19:16

don't think any of the cast have been good without the rest of them.

typecast yes but that's why it worked so well, they all gelled together seamelessly didn't they?

Joey on his own was just such a no no.
