Calling all X-Philes! Weekly ep thread.

Following on from this thread, we're working our way through our X-Files boxsets by choosing a few eps from each season and watching one every Sunday night. Last week we watched Beyond the Sea but tonight's s1 episode hasn't been chosen yet - maybe Lazarus or Young at Heart.

So come, join us, and re-live the excitement! Sigh again at the forehead-kiss, weep at the demise of Deep Throat, marvel at how they disguise Gillian Anderson's pregnancy...

I'm fine thanks. Poorly kids with various bugs, house issues and the anniversary of the death of my much loved Mum coming up so I've had a lot on my plate and have been a bit tired run down myself to boot. Thanks for asking. Appreciated!

Oh and I watched "Audrey pauley" yesterday. I'd forgotten how sad it was that dogget held back so much when he clearly adores Reyes and she feels the same way.

I know it's kind of cliche and not the move they'd have wanted after the whole mulder and scully thing but they would have been really sweet together.

I liked the episode where it implied that Doggett was attracted to Scully, presumably because he knew she was unnatainable and was therefore 'safe'. I like to think he got over it and D&R are now living happily ever after Smile

:) I vaguely remembered that episode but I never really got the impression He was. Not really. Him and Reyes were much more suited to eachother.

You sooooo wanted to hate them both because they weren't mulder and scully but they were pretty good really. He's far to closed minded for x files though he won't entertain the possibility of anything :o

Apart from one episode where he believed in Reyes's theory of an alternate universe and the only way to get her dogget back was to pull the plug on the other one.

And Doggett is totally set up for us to hate him too - that scene where Scully throws water in his face Grin. It definitely needs a sceptic to work though, Scully was such a believer by that point.

I know :o that was so weird to see her tell the class about looking outside the realms of science.

I felt really sorry for dogget in a way though. I mean he really proved himself I thought to be a good guy. Yeah he didn't buy the explanations but he protected scully every time. And yet she never trusted or leave on him at all ever.

It was a giant slap in the face every time and he dust deserve it.
