Following on from this thread, we're working our way through our X-Files boxsets by choosing a few eps from each season and watching one every Sunday night. Last week we watched Beyond the Sea but tonight's s1 episode hasn't been chosen yet - maybe Lazarus or Young at Heart.

Such an Apt ending. A lot of questions still unanswered though.

How could mulder have known the LG were dead? He wasn't at the funeral yet there wasn't a reaction you'd expect if he didn't know, when he was talking to their ghosts.

Such a shame they didn't follow up the whole 2012 thing.

But love that end. Mulder and scully in that motel room, just them against the world.

It's a great ending isn't it? So disappointing they didn't get the films right - I assume Mulder's research in the second film was all on that subject but who knows what actually happened? I also think it's disappointing that they've left the third film so long that they've blown any chance of Scully getting William back (except as an adult).
