But I like him and he has been burned.
I think CBB were hoping that Jones would be more abrasive, same as Brick. But people who are opinionated in print sometimes aren't in real life.
Brick was craven. But when you come to think of it, that is consistent with her writing, isn't it? She might appear combative but mostly it's all about trying to fit in. I realise that she's exaggerating, but even so.
I quite like what I've seen of Liz, though I haven't been watching slavishly.
I think I'm more gregarious than she is but I can be quite reserved until I get to know people, as many people are.
I can see how some people might think that was cynically gathering material. I don't think it's necessarily so in her case.
