I think Lee, as "Lee from Blue" has had women falling at his feet for years and just thinks he's irresistible.

Liz Jones looks like she has a milk moustache! She's got a strange white upper lip!

murasaki · 08/01/2014 23:00

Oh such faint praise....are these our standards these days?

Anyway, I have obscene amounts of meetings tomorrow, I am off to bed to dream of lovely Simon. Like that, hopefully.

LiberalLibertine · 08/01/2014 23:02

Yeah I noticed that thorn wtf is it?!

Theonlyoneiknow · 08/01/2014 23:05

Didnt Simon do Dancing on Ice or similar ??

murasaki · 08/01/2014 23:05

I think, and don't shoot me down here, that she is pretty much anorexic. And so has excess hair, so has probably bleached it.

She's not well, and shouldn't really be on the show. I think she went for the money to feed her motley collection of animals, which I get.

Mad as a spoon, mind.

murasaki · 08/01/2014 23:07

I think the point at which C5 took it over, and let Lauren Harries on, they abandoned the psych assessment that C4 'claimed' to do.

They must have done. As no caring person would let either of them on there, hte duty of care has gone AWOL, I think.

thornrose · 08/01/2014 23:08

Oh yes I remember that 9/11 debacle! Not the outspoken one from the band, the twat from the band! He's a real mummy's boy too apparently.

Simon is beautiful, I'm afraid I'd make an idiot of myself for him (and did a long time ago over someone who looked a bit like him Blush )

Sparklingbrook · 08/01/2014 23:09

Simon Webbe and Anthony Costa did the jungle. Duncan James did DOI IIRC.

RedToothBrush · 08/01/2014 23:11

The duty of care was always questionable tbh.

Nadina springs to mind here.

RedToothBrush · 08/01/2014 23:11

Nadia even

thornrose · 08/01/2014 23:11

Yes, bleached hair would explain it actually murasaki. She has that rabbit in the headlights look all the time too, she's just so NOT how I expected her to be.

RedToothBrush · 08/01/2014 23:13

If Liz Jones won... what would happen to her???!

murasaki · 08/01/2014 23:14

No, me neither. Well she is, re neuroses, but seems reasonable apart from that

re the duty of care - I do feel bad about watching it for those reasons, but......

They want them to crack, luckily (or not, that sounds bad) the people they think will, often don't. Others, who have a clearer idea of what they're getting into, do.

murasaki · 08/01/2014 23:17

Anyway, this year's epiphany needs to be Lee realising that women are people too, and that if you act the cunt on national television, people will hate you.

Something even someone as hard of understanding as him must get by the end, surely.

MatriarchMommy · 08/01/2014 23:19

Simon From Blue came into my shop once, i served himto ciggies. 'Tis my only claim to fame

LiberalLibertine · 09/01/2014 00:05

No they don't really care if people break down do they?

Liz has really surprised me too,I went be able to slag her off properly after this, I think she may come out of there better off than she went in.

So will Sam, and Ollie.

Stila · 09/01/2014 00:31

Bet Kirk (TOWIE) is kicking himself he's not in this series !

I'm finding it all a bit depressing TBH.
All the focus seems to be on the "love triangle" which, quite frankly, is like something you'd get in a school playground rather than a situation with allegedly, mature, adults.
It's like a very bad school trip.
It's boring I think.
But it's clearly what the 16 year olds running chanel 5 were hoping for, otherwise, why would they hand-cuff males and females together and "force" them to sleep in the same bed?
They clearly were hoping for some sort of sexual frisson.
But, the slebs signed up for the show and they either get on with it and get paid or they walk and, presumably miss out on all/some of their fee.
But where is their dignity?

BuffyxSummers · 09/01/2014 02:34

I'm finding Lee really difficult to watch. The way he kept trying to minimise the way Casey was feeling and when he kept going "but babe you shouldn't have overreacted" and whittering on to her about how embarrassed he felt after her reaction (completely drowning out his behaviour and Casey's feelings) it was like going back in time to the way my EA ex used to gaslight me. Horrible to watch.

And we haven't seen Sam at all have we! Or lovely Ollie.

LiberalLibertine · 09/01/2014 06:37

Was hoping we would get to see more of the others, but it's going to be a lot of 'woe is me Lee' watching Jasmine. Who said she was actually relieved when he went!

But yes, he's sooooo self absorbed, blaming Casey for 'how he's been perceived'... it's not perception mate, you ARE a twat.

mrsjay · 09/01/2014 08:46

I remeber lee on celeb come dine and his mummy was stroking his hair as he was preparing lobster soup bisque he has probably been a spoiled indulged brat you reep what you sow Mrs Ryan Grin

YourMaNoBraBackOfMyCar · 09/01/2014 09:30

That Lee is a proper knobhead. Casey and Jasmine should kick him to the kerb. He ain't all dat.
