Yikes, I hope not, poor Sam looks so bewildered at the moment, wonder how long it will go on for, hopefully not that long that we will give up caring what will happen.

You could tell that Dom was heading for a fall as his hair had suddenly stopped to be styled with a ruler and (shock horror) has some gray!

anchories · 09/03/2014 16:16

ha! Grin
It has looked more unkempt of late.

nikkihollis · 09/03/2014 17:15

Dom's hair actually now looks like proper hair, ie, not like a dreadlocked lego man's. He looks much better. Not even sure HOW anyone would go about achieving his former disturbingly straight hairline. It looked really weird. He's not a bad looking bloke, but all I could focus on before was his lego hair.

What's the Paddy/Marlon/Pigs stoyline? Confused

Just seen Paddy storm into the Woolpack very upset about pigs going to the abbatoir?

anchories · 10/03/2014 20:09

His wife tricked him from what I can remember. Said a man was coming to interview him and Marlon. But instead, took them off in his van.

Nospringchickendipper · 11/03/2014 16:54

Paddy is a vet what does he think happens to farm animals.
Has he never come across any pigs before that ended up in an abbatoir.
This storyline is daft and from what I have read it's going to get worst.

nikkihollis · 11/03/2014 19:19

Whoah it is HYPER annoying tonight. The pig thing is especially ridiculous.

BabyMummy29 · 11/03/2014 19:47

Just when you think it can't get even more ridiculous, along comes the pig storyline again.

I am slowly losing the will to live!

nikkihollis · 11/03/2014 23:47

It's like the programme people have suddenly decided it's all too depressing what with AIDS, infidelity, tragic loss of a young life, eating disorders etc , so have tacked the stupid pig plot on for a bit of light relief. Only it's not light or a relief, it's just insultingly stupid. The bit with Marlon and Paddy in beanie hats and with black stripes of mud on their faces - oh deary me!

BabyMummy29 · 12/03/2014 16:49

It was appallingly bad. I feel sorry for the actors playing these pathetic parts and the actresses trying to pretend they fancy someone like Dom!

Strawdolly · 13/03/2014 13:50

Bugger me, if we thought the other storylines were shite what about the latest one with the carjacker? I mean, come on Angry. Utter, utter shite.

nikkihollis · 13/03/2014 17:26

I'm throwing in the towel all over again. Think I'll leave it a few weeks to see if any of the stupid plots are over with and try again. For me the biggest thing isn't so much the plot stupidity but that there are fewer and fewer characters I can actually stand now.

Ellenora5 · 13/03/2014 20:51

Tonights two episodes completely focused on Boring Belle, barely a mention of the funeral and maybe a couple of minutes footage in the church, think I'll stop as well nikkihollis, I did a while ago and only went back to it on the episode where Gemma died, I didn't even know what happened to her

OP posts:
BabyMummy29 · 13/03/2014 21:59

I have recorded tonight's episode - after that synopsis I don't think I'll even bother watching it!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 14/03/2014 12:05

I can't tell who's who with all the new Blokes at The Farm (Moiras)
And just as ludicrous as all these women leaping on Dom is the number of blokes who find irritating Debbie an attraction. Physically yes. Personality-wise no.

Though the scene with Ruby and the elderly gent in her care ? WTAF?
It was like a re-run from Alf Garnett Hmm

qazxc · 20/03/2014 12:09

Does anyone else want to slap David more than usual.
I can't bear his self pitying whinny rantings. He doesn't seem to want to help Priya at all.
And as for his assertions that he should have been told/ be allowed in on every medical appointment as He (all powerful being) would have "done something". As Laila said, done what? stuff a cream bun down her throat?
Why is Laila getting such flack? She told the midwife, tried to get Priya to see a councellor and told her brother as he had helped Priya in the past in getting her treatment for her eating disorder. It's not like she did nothing/didn't care.

Strawdolly · 20/03/2014 14:52

Yes, Qazxc, I'd quite happily let him see the back of my hand. He is BVU.

I do think Leyla is an unfortunate character. She does get herself in a lot of scrapes without actually meaning to.

Nospringchickendipper · 20/03/2014 16:59

I think Alicia is being to meek and mild with David she is usually a fiery character.

She should tell him to go back to Pyria.

Amandine29 · 20/03/2014 17:37

I agree about David. How he can dump Priya for Alesha and act like nothing's happened I don't know. He has no respect for Priya as an individual, all he thinks about is the baby and his own wants. He will be a nightmare when the baby's born.

I was quite surprised when Alesha tried to pacify him by saying 'it's ok, we're really sorry' on behalf of Leila. It sounded so awful, like she was so scared of him kicking off she was trying to stop it happening.

Ellenora5 · 20/03/2014 20:09

Why has Donna come back with the same story line as her sister, it's very irritating and such lazy writing, and I agree about Alesha she is being such a wimp and should tell He-Man to sod off back to her.

OP posts:
NuggetofPurestGreen · 20/03/2014 20:29

Haven't watched in a while but what is going on? David is being a prick and why was Marlon so horrible? Fair enough he's angry with donna but the poor little girl. That was Sad

qazxc · 20/03/2014 20:32

Bloody hell Marlon! I get it was a shock but why was he so horrible about the child?

qazxc · 20/03/2014 21:10

And Aleesha "oh yes darling turning up on your exs doorstep with a bag packed and refusing to leave til they let you move in isn't BU at all." Has the woman had a lobotomy that would explain why she is with the whinning weasel in the first place I suppose?

Strawdolly · 21/03/2014 20:22

This Donna one, was she the policewoman who was shagging her colleague? Who is her sister that they keep mentioning?

Why would Charity mentioning feeling a bit iffy if she's not hinting to us, the long suffering viewers, that she's up the duff?

BabyMummy29 · 21/03/2014 22:17

It is shite of the highest order at the moment. Just when you think one ridiculous storyline has been cleared up, another one appears. Donna returning with a child who seems to have every dressing up costume imaginable stretches credibility a bit too far.

How long will the Belle/Dom borefest drag on for?.... and don't mention James and his "sex god" sons - oh dear oh dear Sad
