I'm not convinced there'll be a next year for the apathy factor. They might be saying there are auditions/entry forms now, but that doesn't mean we'll be back here complaining about the xfactor next year.

I would love to see Simon back.

This is what should be aimed for Simon.

ITV have signed up for another 3 years. They announced it in the middle of this series. So it will be back next year, at least.

In a way I would have thought they might drop it after the 10 year mark, rest it then bring it back in, ooh, 2016 'due to incredible public demand'. But I guess Ant and Dec don't want to work any harder than they already do.

3 more years? Even if they're all as shit as this lot have been?
