The Apathy Factor is living up to it's name.

I will not post spoilery bits here, as I got in trouble t'other year.

I am praying for Christmas songs. And even arse flashing trees.

We can do this.....

Rhydian not rundown. Autocorrect wanted him to be rhodium that time. Grin

MrsPeeWee · 15/12/2013 17:32

I wanted Luke Friend to win. Sad

Since he didn't though, I'd prefer to see Sam win opposed to Nicholas. Grin

Raahh · 15/12/2013 17:32

I agree about Rhydian seeming arrogant- but i think it was really nerves and wanting to fit in with the show. He wasn't really the usual type. He was edited to look really cocky- and by the time the viewers realised he was actually a nice bloke, the damage was done. Leon was nondescript- I couldn't really remember him (most weeks we focussed on the scary pair that was Same Difference)Grin And then from seemingly nowhere, he went and won.

ShellyF · 15/12/2013 17:35

Does anyone know what Leon does these days?

CalamitouslyWrong · 15/12/2013 17:37

No idea Shelly.

I'm not sure that it makes any difference whether anyone is at all like their xfactor persona or not. I'm pretty sure that Luke's mum's sofas and curtains will be safe and not used for shirts once he goes home and goes back to busking outside wilkos.

FinallyGotAnIPhone · 15/12/2013 17:45

The judges are ridiculous too. So refreshing to watch strictly where there is less drama and fakeness.

I thought it was funny last night how the duets were 1) one member if west life (isn't he the one that went bankrupt - maybe he needed the cash?!) 2) one of the judges.

Gone are the days of
Beyoncé and Robbie!

(Sorry ... Again... Sure this was probably mentioned on the previous threads!)

Raahh (great username btw) yes candy was awful!! And the 17 year old boy is just miles apart from Michael Bublé!

SuePurblybilt · 15/12/2013 18:10

Leon is in charge of the candy floss machine at Butlins Minehead. I saw him there last year. He gets to fill the bags AND do the sticks.

Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:08

Sue they trust him with the sticks???

It's on at 7.30pm (I was sure it was 8)

And I am oddly sad that it clashes with Sports Personality... I quite like watching that. But then, I'm not too fussed who wins that this year either.

  1. It is truly the year of Apathy Xmas Grin

Evening everyone. I'm ready and waiting.

Someone has to win, so I'd prefer it to be Sam because there is something about Nicholas I don't like.

Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:23

Iam -I agree, there is something about Wee Jimmy.

But I don't like Screw Loose either. And Shazza will be an insufferable winning judge.

Have just turned on. Very odd choice of song for the Dorittos ad. Do they actually know what the song is about?

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 15/12/2013 19:29

I would like Shazza to go away
I think I am Team Wee Jimmy Wanky. Mostly because I think he'll disappear and end up as First Assistant to Leon at the candyfloss stand, and so be of the least trouble
Screw Loose will end up on Loose Wimmin and her ill thought through and poorly informed opinions will be inexplicably be given prime airtime. If following in Jane McD's footsteps is truly her path, that is.

Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:30

HERE WE GO!

stickysausages · 15/12/2013 19:30

I want Nicholas to win... just to piss everyone off! [ggrin

SuePurblybilt · 15/12/2013 19:31

Flattering pic of Luke --stay puft- there

IamInvisible · 15/12/2013 19:31

How many jumpsuits will get an outing tonight?

CalamitouslyWrong · 15/12/2013 19:31

I'm team wee jimmy wanky too, just about.

I don't really care, truth be told. You'd never have guessed.

I object to last night's performances being described as 'epic' however.

Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:32

Sue you are probably right. There will be a limit to the number of shows that will want underage Jimmy Wanky.

I hate the Barlow/Elton song. In fact, I'm totally, utterly over Barlow.

OP posts:
Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:33

Only Luke could be described as epic...

OP posts:
IamInvisible · 15/12/2013 19:33

I'd quite like to be over Barlow!

CalamitouslyWrong · 15/12/2013 19:33

Optical illusion jumpsuits, iam.

Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:33

I don't mean vocally.

OP posts:
SuePurblybilt · 15/12/2013 19:33

Can we give them 'epic' on the grounds that it went on a bit? And was utterly baffling? That's been the basis of every 'epic' poem I've read, which is my only frame of reference.

Raahh · 15/12/2013 19:33

Iam Behave!! Dh will be home very soon....!!

Small is staying up for Katy Blah Perry and the Wandies.
She's also underwhelmed by the actual XF-ites
