Who'll be the toxic, acidic character this year? There's always at least one. I don't usually watch the reality stuff but I quite like this.

Just because other people have done it doesn't make it ok. What it makes is dull tele. Get her out!

So why pick on her then?

It is well documented she has asthma.

And why all of a sudden is it out business? Why is everyone getting their knickers in a twist about rebecca? Why not Kim woodburn last year?

I didn't watch it last year so I can only twist my knickers about this years shirkers

cos it doesn't make sense for someone to do a programme that they KNOW is going to have these challenges.

its the fact shes an athlete, should -in theory- be fitter than the others (asthma aside). wouldn't the wood fire exacerbate (sp) the asthma?

So what you are saying is that we should be given a detailed history of everyone's medical issues before they go in?

I just don't get how there is such a frenzy over Rebecca this year when previous years have had celebs excluded from more trials.

She would never have been voted in anyway because of Joey. Same with Kim last year because of Helen.

Honestly, I'm not. It doesn't bother me. I find Joey very entertaining.

I just don't understand why Rebecca and why now when we are 13 or so series in. I just don't understand the media frenzy over her and not previous years celebrities. Celebrities being ruled out on medical grounds is not a new thing.

It's only two trials that she has been exempt from.

I am cynical of all the fuss, it certainly provides a lot more furore and column space than a simple statement explaining why she is excused from certain tasks.

Flipping hell, Heather Mills managed a dance competition with minimal disruption to the rules and itinerary, despite the absence of an entire leg.

That sounded odd, but I jut mean that if the viewers are aware why the rules at being adjusted slightly in favour of someone , than they can get on with it. Rather than all this fuss.

Isn't it four trials? I thought she had been excluded from:

• the submarine task
• the rats in cave trial
• the live trial
• the cage suspended in the air (the one Amy done)
