Well, it was all about the logs, rehashing the old trial, and don't forget The Great Bore that is Alfonso, yabbering on to anyone who would listen (hardly anyone) about his precious words of wisdom, tips for showbiz. Yep, if he has wisdom, it's only fair he should share it.

Matthew has surprised me, barking at Rebecca like that. I was in an abusive relationship with a bully and I used to sit at home watching matthew wright on the wright stuff, thinking how reasonable he was, how in touch with his feminine side, how 'warm' he was, how easy-going he was, he seemed gentle. I had a real crush on him for years.

And then he laid in to Rebecca for HELPING. :-/

Well I would have shouted at her too but I would have screamed very loudly, "if you can't too the bloody trials get the fuck out of the jungle and let someone who can actually entertain the nation collect your fee you boring cow!", I feel better now.

I thought it might have been a trigger for him as his outburst did seem a bit unreasonable. Rebecca maybe was nagging him like his ex wife did. I know he has joked about it over the years. He can be arsey on his show too if callers are rude or ignorant. I just think he is highly strung I would not call him a bully as he is sensitive and thats why I would have no doubt in my mind that he would have apologised to Rebecca straight away.

Rebecca has probably missed out on sponsorship money because she's not beautiful. gold medals so what, is she a stunnah? no. so. got get down the mine jungle and earn some money.

What was her fee to go in there I wonder? would love to know. Maybe she was paid less than the others.

But she's not earning her money though is she? Earning her money in the jungle would be to do something crazy like eh I don't know... DOING A TRIAL!

aw i like rebecca. she has claustrophobia i heard, so she is excused. i dont spose she will be excused from all of them.

i guess they are all feeling the stress.

i dont want to dislike matthew because i read, on here, that he was being criticised and shown in a bad light on ITV2, which seemed unfair.

But others who've gone in there have had fear of heights, spiders etc but been made to do stuff involving heights and spiders - ending up having panic attacks or whatever. Why should having claustrophobia be a valid medical condition but arachnophobia not.

If you're automatically excluded from so much, you shouldn't really get the gig IMHO.

Bit of a poor show though. I guess the enormous additional earnings of Joey Essex post-show will at least have been well-earned with all his trials etc.

I think you are being harsh on Rebecca and focussing on the fact she is a Olympian. If you look back of the series the following celebs have been exempt on medical grounds

Those are just what I have found easily.
