So, Natalie's through to next week and we'll see who's going to be joining her in the Tower Ballroom So much nicer than Wembley.

Absolutely Frankel that sort of sense of being mentally aloof while physically passionate. It is such a shame.

Whichever way the vote had gone, it would have been wrong. If dave stayed because his dance-off performance was better, it would have been a travesty because he has been consistantly the least able dancer in the competition. That dave went when, for once, he wasn't the worst is also really unfair.

Weirdly (I'bve been sucked into google) Kevin used to dance with Artem's ex-wife in Burn the Floor.

There's quite a bit of gossip actually. There's a whole lot of not-so-nice stuff about Karen bubbling on twitter and the SCD facebook. Apparently she was sent tweets accusing her of being a husband-stealer after those reports about her being nasty to Ola.

that is really sad karen is getting grief the people hurling abuse at her are moaning she was nasty but they were just as bad, I suspect Ola gave as good as she got I dont agree with cattyness but to keep it going is just daft ,

I'm not particularly a fan of Karen, but I think it's pathetic the abuse she's getting because she had a row with Ola, who is perfectly spiky and I'm sure quite capable of handling herself.

The mentality of some on twitter never ceases to amaze me.

Well I found it sad that, having both auditioned, only Artem was selected. As a result his TV career taook off and hers didn't.

They split up eventually.

A lot of them seem to get married very young. I don't know if that doesn't help.

I think it was Len who said in an interview that it was the worst thing possible to marry your dance partner, but then there are plenty of happily married dance couples, so it's hard to say. I suppose if the dancing's the only thing you have in common it can all fall apart if you stop for any reason.

Len married his dance partner as her father was also their coach. When he died Len and his wife quit competitive dancing to run the family dance school and he said they suddenly realised they had nothing in common.

One simple reason (back in the 60s/70s at least) to get married was because it saved on hotel bills - a married couple could share a room.

Ah, thank you, I couldn't remember the exact circumstances.

I suppose a reason now for getting married would be for visas if you have a mixed-country partnership.

yes so did I I assumed he had been married years ,

I just googled LEn wedding and the first picture that came up was of him and Darcy

It's his third marriage too.

Actually I'm sullying myself with the Daily Mail it seems it's his second marriage with a long term relationship in between :o
