Thread four here we go! Link to the last thread here.

So, Natalie's through to next week and we'll see who's going to be joining her in the Tower Ballroom Smile So much nicer than Wembley.

I think they are all very close this year.
Natalie, is of course, better, but somehow, in my eyes, she does not count.

Thanks Polka - that's helpful! Hopefully we'll get a bit more on technique at this stage of the competition from the judges - and with fewer dancers there's more time for comments!

Agree Ashley is better than Patrick ,but would love Anton to take over from Brucie Smile

I'm alright with Bruce but he struggled a bit tonight.

Think I would probably prefer Vincent to Anton - because I like Vincent's humour and he might engage better with the audience.

I've steadfastly defended Bruce - but I just feel he's showing his age this series, and it's starting to get embarrassing, which is a shame.

Doing a bit of channel hopping - Vincent has just arrived in the jungle (I'm a celebrity... ITV, which I don't usually watch); he's charming every one!

Bruce didn't have his best night did he? (Watched it on a delay)
This is the first series I have watched that there isn't really anyone I really prefer.
I'm probably definitely not his type, but isn't Artem just gorgeous, so emotional too.

I think Brendan is not doing Sophie any favours by his inability to spot and deal with where she is going wrong. We could all see where both her rumba and Argentine tango fell short, but he was obviously completely baffled by the marks and comments she got both times.

Sophie looked very upset to me. I think if they can accept a cowboy style Paso from Ashley, they could have accepted Sophie's sweet and innocent style rumba. It is a dance of love and love can be shown in a sweet loving way, not always raunchy and passionate IMO.

The 2 top World Latin professionals have different styles of rumba, and the more elegant, sweet and innocent one actually beat the raunchy one a few years ago.

She looked really upset didn't she? I thought her dance was great - there was a lot of love and tenderness there. From what Brendan said it was an acceptable style of rumba.

The issue for Brendan might be that Sophie is great in the training room but nerves get the better of her on the night. If she's training well then he can't necessarily fix that issue.

This is a video of the no.2 latin professional non- raunchy rumba. It brings tears to my eyes.

I usually like darcey but FGS how can she give Mark and Sophie the same marks? Shock Maybe like BF her brain's going Grin. Especially after them giving that spiel about the marking going to be stricter now; what a load of old bollox!

Yes great minds ! I thought "Ola's preggers it's about time they gave her a correctly fitted dress!!"

I thought the whole evening suffered from the post-Blackpool blues - like everyone had put so much into that week that they're a bit flat and exhausted now. No dance really stood out. Hope they're back on form next week.

Darcey's comments really irritated me last night even though she is so much better than Alesha. Maybe I'm suffering from post-Blackpool blues! Grin

ps: I also wondered whether Ola's pregnant...

ppeat
You can get it on Google under
www.youtube.com/feelings rumba by Yulia and there are others of her sweet beautiful, if rather balletic, rumba a few years back with her first partner. She never beats Joanna Leunis in Blackpool but did in 2011 abroad somewhere.
Yulia for many is mesmerising reading the comments.

The lighting annoyed me more than usual;it's like they think 'we've got the technology let's throw the bleedin' kitchen sink at them' No wonder the judges couldn't see the same as the viewers it's a wonder they could see anything at all; IT'S CALLED STRICTLY COME DANCING, not 'let's cover up the dancing with weird effects' and don't let me get started on the MUSIC !!!!

Sorry about the rant Blush

The music was terrible last night as always. Sophie's problem is that she has zero sex appeal and no personality, she keeps going on about how difficult it is to act intimate with Brendan when she's married to someone else. Er, yes, but everyone else seems to manage and the fact that her DH said in one of the early vids to Brendan that it's all great "as long as you can do it without touching my wife" is a bit Hmm.

No stand-out performance last night, think Ben might be on his way if Mark can avoid the dance off .
