So, Natalie's through to next week and we'll see who's going to be joining her in the Tower Ballroom So much nicer than Wembley.

I like Mark but believe on this dance Dave should have been saved.

I don't know if Kevin and Karen used to dance together in Burn the Floor (probably) but they were never a competitive couple. Weirdly (just seen on Google) he used to be married to somebody else he was in Burn the Floor with.

I'm not sure how many of these actually were 'proper' competitive couples? James and Ola, Pasha and Anya, but I don't know about the rest.

Ooh I so want Karens dress! I do lots of Scottish dancing. In lucking formal balls etc. wonder what size she is.....

Polka I vote for you to take over from Brucie as Strictly host

I'm with Len. Dave actually danced. I know the Rumba is all posturing but Mark didn't even do that well.

Disclaimer - I'm not a Dave fan at all. They should both have been out.

I have wanted Dave out since the first week, but his dance tonight was the best he has ever done and Mark's the worst.
Mark will go next week.

Mark will have a ballroom next week I imagine. I hope to be honest he won't have to do the jive.

Found a video on You Tube of * Artem's Audition"(with wife Giselle) in 1991. Nigel Lithgoe was the judge.

I had high hopes for SEB's AT - that sort of detached quality could have worked in her favour given the subtext of the dance.

digerd I've just watched it! I know he looked young, but it can't have been 1991 - he was born in 1982

Apparently it was in 2004(?) but the video says EMWDance 1991.
He looks so young and not so muscly.

I saw that video of Artem and his (then) wife auditioning a year or so ago. It's actually very sad when you know what later happens to the couple.

Karen just doesn't look right to me - she has a very low forehead and it looks as though the top of her head is missing.

It'll be Mark v Fiona next week.

hello new threaders I was going to coment on brendan but will do it here, at the start he used to be the bad boy blah blah but he has really chilled and seems to enjoy it better now same with James Jordon he was really grumpy to start, maybe the producers had a word ?

aww dave leaving speech had me wiping away a tear it was lovely he just seems a nice man was his time though, if mark has been up against anybody else he would have went, did anybody notice Lens face he looked livid

I loved the choreography of SEB's AT and it definitely had the potential to be fantastic, but she just didn't attack it enough. Yes the woman should have an air of aloofness during the tango - after all she is basically playing a prostitute - but she needs the passion and drive to reel in her partner customer

I don't know that much about the AT, I've only tried it once or twice at workshop-y things. But, I think Sophie danced it nicely and cleanly, but it didn't really have the feeling it needed. It needs to be much more intense. It isn't a particularly 'nice' dance, it's a lot more raw and uninhibited. Sophie just looked a bit embarrassed. If you look at how Karen looks she's putting a lot more acting into it.

They have always said they can judge only on the night's performance with the bottom 2, not on past performances. Tonight Dave was better than Mark, despite being worse before.
Len said he would have voted for Dave tonight. He was obviously mad at the other judges not following correct voting procedure.

probably digerd but I do think they can vote on how far they can go in the comp I do agree Dave was a bit better that rhumba was painful to watch
