Len is right, there were an awful lot of mistakes in Mark's routine which just goes to show that they don't always choose the better of the two purely based on the dance off.

I really like Dave.

It was right that Dave went but Mark made me cringe this week.

I don't find Dave funny at all. It's obviously scripted to be that way but it just doesn't work because he actually thinks he deserves to be there.

Natalie is under orders to rest apparently.

Anyone else notice that everyone seemed to be commiserating with Dave but only Kevin was standing with Karen.......

Yes Mark is overall a better dancer than Dave, but in that dance off Dave actually danced better than the first time, and Mark was worse second time around.

Are they a couple, Kevin and Karen? All very intense there.

BBC website says Natalie is to see a doctor tomorrow to determine whether she'll be fit to dance next week. Hope she's okay.

Marking my spot. I check the DS spoiler on Saturday night, but I wasn't expecting this result. I thought Dave was the one saved. I must have picked it up wrong. Happy that he's gone though. The tartan onslaught was awful, as was the WonderfulSingersDaveArchandhisOrchestra dreadful imitation of the Proclaimers.

They've never promised it's just on the dance off, have they? I think it was probably the right bottom two. If just on the DDO (dreaded dance off) then maybe Mark should have gone, but looking overall I think it was right to get rid of Dave.

Frankel, Kevin is Karen's partner, so makes sense he was the first to commiserate with her. Couldn't see what happened after the throng formed around Dave and Karen.

I agreed with Len - on the one and only occasion that Dave danced better than Mark (dreadful routine in Mark's case) he got voted off.

I never got the impression that dave was anything other than "chuffed" to be there. I think, sadly, older and/or larger contestants are pushed into being novelties because they have no chance of staying in otherwise. If Mark was slimmer, I am certain he would be awarfed higher marks - not this week, obviously.

Iveta needs to keep her leg down. It's getting a bit tedious.

Looking forward to seeing Natalie's Argentine Tango- think she'll be good at that < as she has been in all her dances so far>.
At least none of the good dancers was in the bottom 2 this week.
