So- we are already at the judges' houses bit- which seems to have come around very quickly. It's also not as much fun without all the agonising over who goes into which category/who mentors who bit, which was a bit glossed over.

Tonight (Saturday)it's 'The Overs' and The Boys

Here are the song choices-

OVERS

The overs perform for mentor Sharon and guest judge Robbie Williams in LA

SAM BAILEY – I Have Nothing – Whitney Houston
LORNA SIMPSON – If I Were a Boy – Beyonce.
SHELLEY SMITH – Girl on Fire – Alicia Keys.
ZOE DEVLIN – Fix You – Coldplay.
ANDREA MAGEE – High and Dry – Radiohead.
JOSEPH WHELAN- I’ll Stand by You – The Pretenders

BOYS

The boys perform for mentor Louis and guest judges Westlife’s Shane Filan, All Saints’ Nicole Appleton and the Sinitta in San Tropez

LUKE FRIEND- Cannonball – Damien Rice
SAM CALLAHAN- We are Young – FUN.
PAUL AKISTER – Last Request – Paulo Nutini.
GILES POTTER – You’re Beautiful – James Blunt.
RYAN MATHIE – Just Give me a Reason – Pink.
NICHOLAS MCDONALD- If You’re Not the One – Daniel Beddingfield.

Louis, bless him seems to have roped in everyone he has ever met. And has ventured out of Ireland!

And why is Robbie helping Shazza, not Bazza?

Giles is a gonnaGrin- he's singing the X Factor song of Doom. No-one who has ever sung it has done well.

And Whitney Bloody Houston. Just, why?????

I have pizza and wine.
Wine

I liked the way they tried really hard to get VT of him looking soulful, and just got him looking slightly confused. As if he could hear something buzzing, but couldn't see a bee.

SmellyFartado · 05/10/2013 20:30

Do we get all of the Judgey houses tonight or are they splitting it?Homeland is back tomorrow, I have priorities Grin

Raahh · 05/10/2013 20:30

ooh look. Now we get to pretend they get a choice, and the producers haven't already decided...

My prediction:
Sam
Lorna
Joseph the dad

BOF · 05/10/2013 20:30

Rough, aye. As arseholes.

godblessthebrokenroad · 05/10/2013 20:30

I hope the boys category fairs better than the overs. Awful, awful, awful.

SuePurblybilt · 05/10/2013 20:31

I hope Shazza burns the pics of the rejects in her poncy firebowl thing
The DRAMAZ

SmellyFartado · 05/10/2013 20:31

I want a fire table a la Shazza

Vivacia · 05/10/2013 20:31

I think the parents who love their child the most get to go through.

Pagwatch · 05/10/2013 20:32

Robbie is Swiss Tony

They're all OK, but none of them can win.

BOF · 05/10/2013 20:32

It's just missing the third witch from Macbeth.

claretandamberforever · 05/10/2013 20:32

It's like trying to choose which STD you'd rather have!

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 05/10/2013 20:33

Yes Joseph and the blonde girl (Lorna?) will go through, makes good TV having people who can fail on notes like that unexpectedly.

TonytheFish · 05/10/2013 20:33

See, with the Judges having to compete against each other, it is too much about "I must win this", as opposed to actually finding someone who could be great and actually have a really good career! it is all about, needing someone who will be decent at pop, decent at disco, decent at big bang etc, just to get through.

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 05/10/2013 20:33

The overs are the Death category

MortifiedAdams · 05/10/2013 20:33

clare Grin

MikeLitoris · 05/10/2013 20:33

I just snorted @ swiss tony.

Knew he reminded me of someone.

TSSDNCOP · 05/10/2013 20:33

Harsh Clare

But true.

SuePurblybilt · 05/10/2013 20:34

I don't have a particularly high level of Relidge, but even I find The Sun calling themselves 'The New Book of Revelations' a bit orf.
Blaspheming gobshites. And on a Sunday too.

TSSDNCOP · 05/10/2013 20:35

Do the X Factor voting public ever vote an Over to win?

They do not. This category should be offed.

Raahh · 05/10/2013 20:35

Tony- they stopped caring if they would be able to sing years ago Grin

I'm laughing at the awful 'bad breaks' pun by Ronnie O'Sullivan on the Sun ad.

Hope she burns the actual rejects in the firebowl...exciting telly

TSSDNCOP · 05/10/2013 20:36

In TSS X factor world the judges would have a mixture of the contestants I.e girls, boys, overs and groups
