Have the day off today so can sit and watch the tennis scores update.

This match is heating up a bit now, they're both playing as if they want to win for a change.

I hate those sneaky little dropshots. If I was umpire I'd tell them at beginning of match they weren't allowed to use those!

I am always talking to myself on here. Usually on the Doctors thread, where nothing makes sense anyway

I know what you mean about sneaky drop shots. They just seem a bit mean- and if I was playing, and ran to chase one, I would want do that 'looking around, no-one saw me trip' thing

I wouldn't bother chasing down a drop cheat, I'd look at it contemptuously and mutter to myself about unfairness!

I met a friend this morning for coffee, a fellow tennis fan (but for one inexplicable reason she doesn't like Pot - can you believe that?!). Anyway we promised ourselves that one day we'll go to the Monte Carlo Masters. She said "but we have to be rich to o there". I said "we'll pretend to be rich". She said "but even to pretend you're rich there you have to be rich!" I'm questioning her commitment. :)

Ooh I think I heard the Paris Masters advertised on French radio today. One of my favourites. Obviously.

I think you're OK with the unwritten MN law Juan. We've probably all broken it at some point. I think if I reported your posts for too many in a row MNHQ would not be that impressed.

I'm going to see the tennis next Wednesday and Thursday. We get to see 3 matches each night but I'm not sure which ones yet. The schedule wasn't released the last time I checked.

Ben is rather nice. As is Ashley. Especially last week.

I saw that one. Clicked another thread and then got caught up in what I think might be the annual Christmas Appeal bunfight. I'm sure there were threads about this last year but I get the impression everyone else seems to think complaining about it is new this year.

I'm not feeling great today. Have a sore throat and have lost my voice. It's a shame i can't watch the match,while i wallow in self pity.
