Anyone notice this is the episode last Sunday - when the Detective and pregnant girl were sat in the cafe waiting for the "facebook" friend to turn up, he asked her what her boyfriend did and she said he sold trainers. Next scene was back to Melissa who was jogging doen the street wearing a newish looking pair of trainers ???

Not the last scene from what I remember, was just before they met with the blonde girl who had been to slimming club with melissa

The way this drama is showimg how overweight people are treated is very realistic. I used to be 21 stone and i was either totally ignored like she was at the xmas party.
Or abused for it in the street. This drama is showing a good reflection of what life is like for overweight people.

I was thinking that a bit Darkest - but also, I was worried that it was too down on how overweight people are treated, as I know beautiful women of her size who'd blast in wearing yards of Vivenne Westwood silk and four inch heels, waving a bottle of bolly and have everyone at their feet...

My heart went out to Melissa, all alone at the party. I hope Evil Thin Lesbian gets her comeuppance.

There seem to be a couple of domestic abusers here too. The maths teacher and Elaine fit that category.
