Did you see the body? :(

OP posts:
Tee2072 · 01/09/2013 21:59

She created her an account on Friends Reunited for some unknown reason.

I'm still bored.

May go to bed early next week.

MajesticWhine · 01/09/2013 21:59

Yes, she has got a bit obsessed hasn't she. Gawd it was slow tonight.

Ahhhcrap · 01/09/2013 22:00

A bit slow tonight Hmm

Tee2072 · 01/09/2013 22:01

My husband thinks it's great...

I am thinking it's like Murder on the Orient Express and they all did it.

dingit · 01/09/2013 22:04

My DH has just some down and seen the last 10 minutes and declared it a crock of shite!

MorrisZapp · 01/09/2013 22:04

I loved it! Thought it moved along fine. Showing us the dark side of all the neighbours, one by one. I really like Larkrise woman, she is v cute I think. The teenaged son is obviously troubled, possibly violent.

I'm dying to know what the curly haired ex pupil said to Michael before he left the flat.

Will defo be tuning in next week. Loved the BBC Drama mashup they showed before it, Ripper Street, yay :)

2rebecca · 01/09/2013 22:34

Why did melissa put the magazines in the communal attick area rather than keeping them in her flat? She knew other fllats had access to it as other people's stuff was there. Her putting the magazines there made no sense, surely she'd keep them in her flat then take them to the tip and dump them in paper recycling, not put them somewhere where the other flat mates may see them and look at them/ nick them esp the stroppy lesbian.
Too many nutters to be realistic. You don't care about any of them because they are all barking.

SquirtedPerfumeUpNoseInBoots · 01/09/2013 22:44

Bit behind this week. Funny that the ex detective got himself drunk and took his spark plugs back!

SalaciousCrumb · 01/09/2013 23:48

Creepy, atmospheric and good development of characters.

I loved it and the hour watching this flew by! I think the neighbour in room 4 has more to do with it; no idea why the ex-pupil was in flat 5 where she feels compelled to visit.

There's a connection somehow between Melissa, her mum and the girl with creepy teacher in flat 1.

valiumredhead · 01/09/2013 23:54

What's wrong with you lot, it was bloody fab!Grin

I love programmes where I don't guess what's going to happen,I usually work out out within the first half an hour!

Can't wait until next weekGrin

Tee2072 · 02/09/2013 07:34

My god what's wrong with anyone who thinks it was fab? Including my own husband, who keeps going on about lighting and camera angles. Too bad the script is such shit.

To quote a friend 'there's building suspense and there's watching paint dry...'

MorrisZapp · 02/09/2013 08:46

Tee's husband has spoken :)

My DP thought it was crap too, but he'll be reminding me next Sunday 'oh that programme is on' so he can find out what happens without admitting he wants to know.

waikikamookau · 02/09/2013 09:01

ENJOYED it, I love Russell tovey.
very odd that the journalist did not introduce his girlfriend of almost a year, to his son.
very peculiar.
horrible horrible bitchy lesbian,
the girl with the teacher is a kleptomaniac and hit the detective on the back of the head,
did she also hit Melissa?

could have been any of them,
and the bloke who made a pass at Melissa but now lives abroad

valiumredhead · 02/09/2013 12:02

How do we know she's a kleptomaniac?

I find it unlikely Russell Tovey's character would be with the woman expecting his baby. She seems classier than him, but is obviously just as mental with creating fake facebook pages for melissa, or maybe bored and doing am detective work as she comes across as much brighter than his character.

valiumredhead · 02/09/2013 16:26

She created the fb to see of anyone responded to friend requests, she's playing detective !

dufflefluffle · 02/09/2013 16:34

I think yer man with the son didn't introduce his son to his gf because the son is creepy and possibly had something to do with Melissa's disappearance.....maybe.
I think it's great too, can't wait to see next week's.

guineapiglet · 02/09/2013 17:57

Hi all. Yes duffle, I find that surly son very creepy and smug. Really hope he is not going to to the dirty with his Dad's partner..... - what I have enjoyed about this is that really everyone is a possible murderer really, all with some kind of connection - very Agatha Christie! It is very watchable and the characters are all very diverse! Looking forward to next week's episode...... :)

valiumredhead · 02/09/2013 18:02

It reminds me of The Inspector Calls.

diddl · 02/09/2013 18:26

I'm enjoying it as well.

Easy to watch!

standsonshiftingsands · 02/09/2013 18:29

I just can't watch David Threlfall without thinking of Frank. I loved Frank - my kind of anti-hero

dollybird · 02/09/2013 20:22

David Threlfall is the guy from Sex, Chips & Rock n Roll to me (the one who married one of the twins and was a bit creepy). I too, thought he was wearing eyeliner. Loved it and can't wait till next week

BaconAndAvocado · 02/09/2013 20:40

Enjoying it, though finding it hard to take Shameless actor seriously!

The lesbians are great, especially woman from Luther.

No idea whodunit......
