I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

the only time it's open at night is when kat or whitney have to stumble out drunk into a dangerous situation.

It's very true that Phil is also loaded - I have watched EE for years and as long as I can remember he has always had wads of cash. He has a safe in his house behind a picture frame which is permanently bulging with money. His wallet is always stuffed with notes too.

More unrealism : what I have thought is how few families live in actual houses in inner London any more - certainly not people like Bianca in the East End anyhow - they would be living on a housing estate.

I know- I couldn't believe she was just walked into the room where roxy was with tommy and expected that would be ok! no no no! surely she understands why it isn't ok that she's there. I know it's just a soap (I really really do) and I know she was ill at the time of the kidnap but that behaviour last night kind of struck me as a bit icky- like an abuser coming back to where they committed a crime. and there was a very telling scene with Michael where she reminded him that he didn't have scarlett or Janine anymore but the way she said it was sinister.

I have invested a huge amount of my life watching ee and am really struggling with it these days. For the first time ever I deleted two weeks of recordings when I got back from holidays as just couldn't face putting in the hours to catch up. And it appears I missed nothing....will plod on though but they are risking losing loyal fans with this shite.....

In yesterdays EE, Shirley put some coins in the duke box then said..."This one's for you 'Ev" or something similar.....I eagerly waited to see which Wham! song it would be, but no music played!!!

I seriously feel like complaining to the BBC. This shoddyness is just not on. DH thinks Shirley pressed the button for Club Tropicana, as she was off to Greece to live in the sun for forever (on the £2K she nicked from Phil )

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but how many times has some random 'ard man turned up in The Square and tried to take over Phil's businesses when he's in hospital/in Portugal/in prison? It's ridiculous. Plus the fact Phil's businesses must make bugger all money.
