I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

I remember Shabnam doing pole dancing in the nightclub to make money for the family when their post office was in trouble and she had a boyfriend, but I can't remember who.

Also, Deano is back soon, that's Shirley's son. I don't know why there's an influx of old characters. I bet they'll bring Nick and Dr Leg back soon. Actually Nick Cotton is due a return about now... It's been a few years.

I can't get my head around Stacey coming back - I mean why would she? Her Mum and brother are long gone and she will potentially be tried for murder if she does. It makes no sense!

And why haven't we heard news of Janine? What's happened to Alice? Where's Scarlet? Surely Alfie would be kept up to date with information about his cousin's murderer?

Yes i think poppy finished with fats. Cant quite remember what happened but there was misunderstanding over her wanting to buy a house and him not being ready and then i think she saw him in the pub with some other girl but got the wrong idea.

Poppy was with fatboy until last week when she caught him and some of the others looking at page 3 photos of the new landlady. She stomped out of the pub and nothing has been mentioned about it since!

I agree with the PP about Shabnam. I think the EE writers (a) forget about previous storylines/ characters, and (b) don't expect the viewers to remember. I'm sure Shabnam didn't wear a headscarf, and was feisty and independent. She's been living away from her family for years, yet suddenly she's over-interested in faamily.

Tanya had cervical cancer, not breast cancer, and they did make her look very poorly while she was supposed to be ill.
