Wtaf is going on with eastenders??

I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

I think it is that Jane knows he is feeling like he is on the brink of another nervous breakdown. Not that she offered to do anything practical to help him avoid it.....she seems to have swerved the whole thing can't say I blame her

Yes the ring was for Denise but I think he was having second thoughts about asking her....

the ring was for denise, but after she made a big thing to patrick about not wanting to get married (coz she thought ian wasnt interested) but he had already got a ring, so he didnt pop the question on xmas day which is corny anyway lol

he then spoke to someone who said that yes denise did want to marry him but thought he didnt hence why she said she didnt want to marry

so ian went home to get ring out, texted denise to say come home, was about to pop the question when she came through the door, but instead jane came in

It looked to me like both Ian and Denise didn't really want to get engaged. Ian looked like he was having second thoughts after realising he doesn't rely on her or open up to her like he did with Jane, and Denise after being reminded how attractive she is by that dude and fatboy. It's probably occurred to her that she could actually do better. Not saying that the guy flirting behind his fiances back is better than Ian, but she could do better than Ian IYSWIM

Fats and denise had a night together last year (or maybe it was longer ago than that!) and he very much wanted it to become more but she didnt. It was all kept quiet from everyone else on the square.

Danny Dyer is lush!! I love that he keeps walking about half dressed - its about time there was some proper eye candy!
I can't bear his wife but the rest of them are OK, I like Nancy.
Agree about the cancer storylines. My cousin has just been through breast cancer treatment and I wish they would show how harrowing it can be rather than glossing over it all and suddenly being fine again five minutes later like Tanya.
I've been waiting for 'Mark's' arrival - I think Michelle should be killed in a car crash and he should turn up on Sharon and Phil's doorstep after having found some letters from Grant in his mum's stuff, demanding answers!!!
I need to get a life!!!

Its so bloody frustrating at the moment!!
Why did Phil hide Carls phone in the kitchen? Why not just bin it?
And when Miss Piggy found it why didn't he say it was an old phone which he had dropped? Why was she even suspicious anyway - I have a drawer full of broken phones at home!!!
And why did Phil say all his dodgy stuff stay away from home when there was a DEAD MAN'S PHONE in the kitchen drawer?
And why didn't Miss Piggy look in the bloody safe on the wall behind the picture when she was digging about!!!
At least Denny will get his haircut now though!!!

at yah @ denny having a hair cut at barbers, tho prob be a trim not short back and sides

shabnam is a right spoilt little madam, she seems to forget that while she was at uni/touring the world that her mum had an affair and married him

wheres poppy, fat is meant to be in love with her, why is he snogging denise?
