Wtaf is going on with eastenders??

I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

It's compulsive viewing at the moment. I have bets with myself as to whether it can actually get any more awful. I'm not violent but I just wouldn't be able to stop hitting some of them.

Kat does not seem delighted at the thought of having twins. Maybe now the high drama of having Alfie chase her through airport/losing pub is over and things are more settled and mundane, the appeal is rapidly waning.
She's suddenly thinking "oh wait a minute there's a reason we split up, because frankly i find him boring and don't love him as much as he loves me".
I give it a month before she's back to cheating on him for a bit of excitment and expecting everyone to feel sorry for her as she's only doing it because she's so "troubled".

I'm not warming to danny dyer. I read somewhere he was basing his character on Frank Butcher with the voice and actions...he looks like he's overacting as a result. Also their son looks just like Terry's son doesn't he?

Has ronnie left? I hope so. She is just unbelievable and sick of her cry-gasp every time she kills or steals someone. Her and roxy are pointless.

What I found unbelievable was when Kat told Ronnie that she should come back to the square in the first place (when Ronnie got out of prison) AND stay with her. I mean the woman took your baby and made you think your own had died of a cot death for months. But of course, just come and stay with the woman you did all this to so you can get back on your feet.

And how many new gay characters have we got all of a sudden? There's gay Gary Lucy who also shags girls. The new guy who looks about 12. And lesbian Tina who also shags men. EE are obviously trying to match corrie in the gay quota.

Even shirl who I used to like is an annoying old bag now. And mad just flits around the square having scenes with anybody random.

I think it was very low sperm count. When Kat got knocked up DP said "well how does he know that Tommy's not his then!" but i think he might have been in prison at time of conception (of tommy) but i may have got that wrong.
I was a bit sad for Tommy, when Alfie was talking to Terry about how he wanted to be a "proper dad" to "his own" kid. Does now the twins are on the way relegate Tommy to second best in his eyes?
