I know it's been shit for ages but its just dire atm. I'm a bit behind and stopped watching when bunhead Lauren was getting drunk. Switched back on and she's back from rehab. Was her rehab in the Maldives? I'm sick to the back teeth of her and joey. What a mockery they've made of teen drinking showing her recovered. She's a terrible actress.

Lucy is weird and for an eastender she's got a v posh accent. As has bobby. And Dennis. And Sharon.

And I really don't like how every victim of sexual abuse is portrayed as promiscuous. In one episode we see Kat dragging a guy into an alley for a quickie and Whitney getting into a car with strange men. Not every child victim is like kat and bloody Whitney. Utter tosh. I need another long break from it. I only came back to it cos corrie is terrible these days.

Ava's character was good until dex and smiling giant Sam arrived. I cannot stand Janice at the moment. She's just vile. And I hate all the kids. They're everywhere. And boring. I thought I'd give it a try to see if its any better but it's worse!

And bloody David strutting round the square in his smelly suit and clicky heels. Urghh.

Janine is just a total control freak bitch.

What is the point of Cindy v2.0? Will anyone ever find out that she took that ten grand?

I am actually interested in how Whitneygate is going to pan out. I haven't been very interested in EE for a while, just watching out of habit, but I'd quite like to see Sharon eat humble pie.

YoureBeingADick · 23/10/2013 17:58

Yes im looking forward to sharons realisation. That should be fun.

Im also enjoying david wickes ruffling a few feathers Grin. Didnt like him at first when he was winding masood up and staking some sort of claim on carol. But the Ian goading is funny.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/10/2013 17:41

sharon drives me mad with her fluffing on denny and refuses to think her angel can do no wrong Hmm

hope she gets her comeuppance asap

YoureBeingAnAnyFuckerFan · 25/10/2013 20:22

ooh that Michael is so creepy! Grin

YoureBeingAnAnyFuckerFan · 25/10/2013 20:28

oh and btw- did anyone else hear Michael calling tamwar "monkey boy" earlier? Shock why did he call him that? please tell me there is a joke I missed and it's not a racist comment.

TwllBach · 25/10/2013 20:47

Michael does use an awful lot of monkey related insults. I'm sure he says that Joey is a chimp/monkey...

Oh Lordy I have just watched tonights episode.

His psycho face is quite terrifying. He is terrifying!

YoureBeingAnAnyFuckerFan · 25/10/2013 23:55

oh that's good twl. I didn't think they would be so stupid as to let him be racist (without being challenged)

yes his face is scary when he's on stare out mode.

garlicfucker · 26/10/2013 00:36

Just caught up on tonight! That was FANTASTIC!! Michael did a full narcissistic rage Grin He went from telling Alice how rare and special she is to be loved by Him, to screaming that she is his acolyte & exists to serve him, to spewing hatred at her, in less than two minutes.

Alice is turning out to be a cool-headed conniving strategic genius :) She could have run rings round her father. Can't wait to see what's next!

If you've not seen it yet, MAKE SURE you're watching right at the very end. No words, one swift action, and it's ace!

TwllBach · 26/10/2013 06:52

You could see it coming from Michael though. Obviously we knew anyway that he was a bit... Calculating (understatement of the year) but it was very well done I think, with the "now say yes Michael" and "you can kiss me now" that Alice thought was sweet and quirky to begin with, but was actually a bit of a portent of things to come.

And again, EE proves I have far too much time on my hands.

youarewinning · 26/10/2013 07:13

I'm very excited for the Halloween episode - who will be murdered? Both Alice and Michael are reported to be leaving the show so by bet is Janine and the other 2 run off with scarlet!

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/10/2013 07:46

Alive is meant to have killed Janine. MICHEAL goes to check and Janine's alive so the fight is then against Janine and Michael

Janine won't die. Never does lol. So think Michael dies and possibly alice as well

Agree about Witney. She was doing play schemes as suddenly a trained nursery nurse - which btw I am and took me 2 years of college and blood sweat and tears

Not what seems a month over summer hols and then is now a teachers assistant /classroom Assistant in the local school

Just LOVE how everyone finds local jobs - no commute at all Grin

And why why why did Ava leave her well paid with lots of holiday private headmistress job in a private school to work on a low paid state school!

CalmaLlamaDown · 26/10/2013 08:33

Do Alice and Janine team up to kill psycho Michael?

YoureBeingAnAnyFuckerFan · 26/10/2013 12:00

michale knows alice didn't drug Janine now though so I think he'll go t o try and do it himself or something but where has alice gone? to warn Janine?

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/11/2013 22:21

What an episode !!!!!

cheerfulweatherforthewedding · 01/11/2013 22:32

Indeed it was!

cheerfulweatherforthewedding · 01/11/2013 22:37

I have a feeling they (Alice and Janine) will manage to escape any charges; connected to the false story about the supposed initial attack on Janine with the knife. Yet doesn't Janine have a chequered past, being involved in (engineering, in fact) the death of her first husband, Barry?

TwllBach · 01/11/2013 22:51

Brilliant!!

I foresee Janine blamign it all on Alice and Alice goin daaaaaahn for it. Alice will say she stabbed in because she can't lie and then, when it comes out that he was stabbed twice, Janine will make out that Alice did it twice and just can't remember because of how crazy angry she was with Michael.

RedPencils · 01/11/2013 23:41

Ooopo Good episode, I haven't read any spoilers so had no idea that was going to happen. Is he really dead then?

Although, I noticed Janin was holding the knife with a tea towel. I hope they aren't going to make Alice think she killed him and have janine say she didnt do anything. They already did that with Dirty Den and Zoe/his wife who's name I can't remember but is now River In Dr Who.

wakemeupnow · 02/11/2013 08:19

Well that was spectacularly overacted and unconvincing.. hopefully Alice will go down for it as She annoys the fuck out of me... will miss Michaels quips though.

cheerfulweatherforthewedding · 02/11/2013 10:57

Spectacularly silly storyline.
All I keep thinking is it could have all been avoided, and that Michael had the absolute advantage when he was in possession of the house and Scarlett, he gave them up needlessly then immediately spent all his time and energy in trying to get access to her.

I didn't see Janine hold the knife with tea towel! Agree it's recycling of the Zoe storyline.

RedPencils · 02/11/2013 17:12

I was getting really bored with the storyline so I'm glad there's quite a dramatic conclusion.
Although agree that Michael leaving the house and Scarlett and taking absolutely no legal advice about contact, ridiculous. Surely you would go and see a solicitor at least once before trying to kill the mother of your child.

BlatantRedhead · 03/11/2013 13:37

So Janine is going to get away with murder - again. What a change of pace for eastenders.. lol
