OOh can I have the recipe for that too ?Almonds are one of my passions! I remember my mum made mandelbrot ('cos my Gr.Parents were from Eastern europe) they are such hard biscuits they'd break yer teeth!!!

I need to ask her for that recipe first, I don't have it at home. I might actually make a Mandelstollen for Christmas this year.
Is Mandelbrot a bit like biscotti? My grandmother used to make almond biscuits which had bitter almond oil in the pastry and a whole almond baked on top. They were great but nobody has the recipe. I wasn't at home when she died and by the time I got home all her stuff was gone including her recipes.

Hello, may I join you. I watched the entire series on Iplayer last night. It's so relaxing! Everyone speaks so nicely.

Howard cracks me up, and Ruby is so pretty but I think Its Christine's contest.

I LOVE Glenn. He is my favourite - w Howard. Close second.

The bakers really look freaked out today... Will Howard make it through without crying....Ooh she is proving it in the oven... Always wondered about that.....
