I think I'd have preferred a Djok/Rafa final to a semi-final. It'll probably feel more like the final.

Clay- I know-the French semi was great, really made the final feel a bit flat- which potentially could happen here. (If i was actually watching , that is,and not just watching live scores on the ATP site- that's a bit 2 dimensional)So Vamos! Rafa,and C'mon Pospisil.

The draw is out for Cincinnati too- much is being made of Rafa meeting Fed in the quarter finals. Tbh, the way things have been going for Roger, I don't think that is now as big a deal as it would have been 12 months ago. I know Roger is the defending champion, but I don't think he'll have it easy.

Agree about 2D-ness of tennis scores. I have the live scores up in a tab on my browser but it's not quite the same. Seems to work for cricket in a way it doesn't for tennis.

What time is the Djok Rafa match?

Rogers Cup site is saying not before 8pm. Assuming that's Montreal time, I think that's 1am UK time.

They're 5 hrs behind. It's this site. I'm not sure whether its UK or Montreal time. I assumed Montreal because the 1st match starts at 1pm which would be 8am in Montreal if the time on the site is UK.

Probably a good thing Raah. WTF was going on with that opening ceremony for the Athletics. Although I have spent the afternoon wondering why there was what looks like a large inflatable spaceship over the stadium. It makes a bit more sense now.

Right, my tennis page seems to have started refreshing at about 6pm UK time or 1pm Montreal time. So
Popsil v Raonic is not before 8pm UK time
Flemming/Murray in doubles is not before 11pm UK time
Nadal v Djok is not before 1am UK time.
