I've found a couple of threads about particular characters but was wondering if there was one just for general observations and if we could have a hands up to see if anyone else cried at Brenda's hair thing. I thought all those tears and smiles looked real

I wonder how long Debbie can keep it together, I hope they don't draw this out for ages, Cameron needs to be caught. Isn't Steve awfully creepy, you can see Nicola is starting to get very wary of him.

Yes the acting is really good. Poor Nikhil and Brenda. Debbie is going to pieces. I wonder if Cameron is going to murder anyone else or whether this will be his undoing? Steve getting uber scary/creepy now.

Going slightly off track here, but I read somewhere that no one in soaps ever gets away with murder and that got me thinking..... I can't remember all the details (I can't remember very many details at all), but I think the actress who plays Marilyn in Home and Away got away with murder when she played a barmaid in Emmerdale.
I think that Terry knew, and helped her cover it up, but am totally lost on any of the rest of the story! Does anyone else remember?

Karl got away with killing that postie and his dad.

I knkw he died eventually but that was nothing to do with him being a murderer.

Cant remember the marilyn one though. That is going to bug me.

I can't remember his name but wasn't it someone she was going out with who tried to rape her and she killed him in self defence? I seem to remember Terry helping her dispose of the body.

I was surprised at the amount of storylines she had. I hardly remember her at all.

Remember the woman that died in the knicker factory in Corrie? She was Polish. I know they didn't kill her but no one ever found out they covered up the death did they?

I know that's not getting away with murder but everything usually comes out in soaps.

Is it just me but is anyone else already bored with the nikhil storyline, it's really badly acted, and there isn't anywhere to go with it.!

I think that the Nikhill storyline is very well acted. Nikhill always found it hard to show emotion,he also has O.C.D. and is struggling to cope.

I find it hard to watch the scenes with his daughter. The actor is leaving Emmerdale and I think that this what the storyline will lead up to.

What's with that creepy Steve? Is he trying to get into Nicola's knickers?

He's horrible isn't he begginyouformercy, I think he is going to make life really hard for her, she's a pain in the bum but she doesn't deserve that.

Footface I'm with you, think Nikhil is awful, can't wait till he is gone.

I just think its a shame that they couldn't just have a normal grieving story line for a change rather than the nikhil bit.

Emmerdales great at doing low key, well acted storylines and this just seems to be detracting from what was until now a brilliant storyline.

Loving the new Steve and Nicole side story very interesting

I love Cain. Just watched last night's episode, love the way he keeps happening upon Cameron coming out of Debbie's house/hoving into view when Debbie's about and then looking suspicious.

Wonder what's going to happen with the dictaphone? Would love if someone just listened to it and wrapped up the Cameron storyline but that seems unlikely...

Gennie had a dictaphone because she was going to leave it in debbies to catch her talking to Cameron to prove they were having an affair, but they came in when she was trying to leave it there, she heard everything they said but it was also on the dicataphone I presume, she left with it and got into the car, I reckon it will be in her things when the police give them back to Nikhil.

I hope Cain isn't being killed off, he's my favourite baddie, maybe he will kill Debbie and get her out of it for good

Apparently they are planning a week of special episodes to coincide with Karls death last.year so October time. I know Adam gets blamed for Alex's death when.the body is found which I imagine is pretty soon.

I find Steve very creepy. I just don't get where that storyline is going. If it is a black mail for sex story line why would Nicola ever allow herself to be out in that position? And she could just tell Jimmy she borrowed money, it's not that big a deal.

Yeah they showed a shot of the dictaphone in the car when the ambulance came for Gennie. Can't believe Nikhil didn't listen! Although I knew this was going on until October.
