Is there a general Emmerdale thread?

I've found a couple of threads about particular characters but was wondering if there was one just for general observations and if we could have a hands up to see if anyone else cried at Brenda's hair thing. I thought all those tears and smiles looked real

I think Georgia is trying to set up Rodney and see will he sleep with Veronica, I don't think he will, but if it gets Georgia out of emmerdale then that can only be a good thing.

I am beyond caring about who owns the baby, I thought it was going to be the xmas storyline, I hate charity, she is such a gold digger and always was, she only cares about money, this will give her the perfect excuse to leave Jai and take him for all he is worth. It will make a change from Katie and Declan and their ridiculous divorce.

Can we start a campaign to get rid of Katie for good, she is painful in the extreme, she doesn't even have any horses anymore to pretend she has a job.

I am getting so irritated with so many stories right now - Katie and Declan; Charity and Jai; Rhona/Marlon/Paddy; Laurel; Priya's pregnancy/David; Georgie and Rodney/Hunter; Val & Eric. Am heartily sick of the lot. Also don't care whether Ashley gets to be vicar again or whether Ruby gets up-duffed. Would like Rishi's family to be fairer and more respectful towards their dad, but other than that would be happy for totally new set of stories to replace this sorry bunch.

And Rhona is now being really daft with the antibiotics. She has just got Leo home after all this time and now is playing Russian Roulette with her health again. OK it's understandable that she doesn't relish the thought of taking ANY drugs, but as a vet, she'd surely know that antibiotics aren't addictive. Daft bat.

I am finding hard to be sympathetic to Charity. Considering how vile she has been to/about Rachel and esp the baby, even before she found out. Also she has hardly been a paragon of virtue in the past , quite happy to jump in bed with married men amongst other things

That lady who was offering to pay Rodney for sex (blurgh) was absolutely dreadful. These bit part actors are always utter crud. Like the lady at the speed dating. How do they get agents? Weird.

Anyway! I know I stand alone but, I like Katie. I think I'm the only one who does on this thread! How are they writing Chas out for the jungle?
