I've found a couple of threads about particular characters but was wondering if there was one just for general observations and if we could have a hands up to see if anyone else cried at Brenda's hair thing. I thought all those tears and smiles looked real

I know, I felt awful for Brenda tonight. but Jesus Nickeil (sp) is the worst actor I've ever seen, he was on this morning the other day, and he said his Mum is one of the bosses,explains a lot

I don't know if he is, Nikhil is supposed to be very uptight and not show to much emotion - either he plays it brilliantly or is a shit actor. Hopefully he'll be in something else and I can decide!!!

Why didn't one of his family or friends give Nikhal a lift to the airport?

At least in Emmerdale they have cars on a day to day basis whereas on Corrie the cars just appear out of nowhere when the plot requires it.

I'm glad he's gone, he never fitted in anyway, won't be long now before Cameron gets caught , I wonder will it be Chas who listens to the Dictaphone (why does Dictaphone always type with a capital D). Declan is going to lose everything, I wonder will he go the way of all the others who bought homefarm.

Its school holidays why are all soap land children not driving their parents up the wall getting under their feet.

I haven't heard one parent mention child care arrangements during the school hols or saying they can't wait for Sept.

Know it's not emerdale but Katie from corrie has now been tanning with Tina, she looks awful! Why are they all insisting on being that ridiculous colour?!

Yeah it's a fairly recent thing isn't it? They weren't all like that before. Debbie looked shocking the other day, the day after the funeral episode when she came out of her house and met Charity and then had to chase Cain to the quarry.

I wish there were some distraction from the dreadful Rhona story. Why can't she just come clean to Paddy? How is pretending to have a lesbian romance with Vanessa preferable? !

Have just caught up with Thurs/Fri on iplayer. I agree libertine. Why for heavensakes won't Rhona tell Paddy the truth. It's bloody ridiculous. When he thought she had a problem with alcohol he was so supportive so she has no reason to think he wouldn't be the same if she had a problem with drugs. I want to slap her. Am glad the dead Scouser in the woods has been identified finally.

Libertine, Chas has the Dictaphone now so I presume she will eventually listen to it and it will all come out then, I can't wait till he's gone, he is so creepy. What was with all the tears with Victoria, she dived straight into bed with Adam after Alex disappeared.

Poor Paddy, I felt so sorry for him when he caught Rhona and Vanessa, I wonder can they work things out when he finally knows the truth.

Yeah Paddy's face was really sad when he walked in. And Vanessa was so annoying the way she kept trying to explain. I hate when people say 'I never meant to hurt you' or 'we didn't want you to find out like this', as if that makes it okay. Are we supposed to feel sorry for Rhona or hate her? Hate her I assume!

Gaaah this Paddy/Rhona/Vanessa storyline is sooo annoying I keep shouting at the screen, just tell him FFS! As if you would let your OH think you were having a lesbian affair rather than being addicted to prescription pain killers it's just so unbelievable.

I am pleased that they are wrapping up the Cameron storyline now however and am quite gripped with it all. Can't wait until Debbie finds out that he killed Jennie. I'm finding Emmerdale much better than Corrie at the moment.

Ah poor Paddy, wouldn't you love to throttle Vanessa, and her acting skills are dire, I hope she is leaving it soon.
