that it's the last in the series, I love it and it should run every week of the year IMO!

Tribpot, if you ever start a clique can i be in it please as you rival me for anoraky knowledge of ER and West Wing Grin

Jerry cannot die!!

do you remember the other receptionist, he was a policeman in the first series!

And wasn't the episode with Bradley Whitford one of the best ever??

franca70 · 07/06/2006 14:16

if anything bad happens to abby/baby/kovac and jerry I'm gonna sue the entire production. I cried watching her fainting...

expatinscotland · 07/06/2006 14:18

that place would have been swarming w/cops had that really happened.

a chopper would have gone after the suspects.

dewmeadow · 07/06/2006 14:19

I know!! couldnt believe they were just driving away with no car chase

franca70 · 07/06/2006 14:20

new season will air in the US in september...

tribpot · 07/06/2006 14:49

lilibet, I shall let you in the anoraky ER/WW clique only if you can name the two episodes that Bradley Whitford was in (of ER, obviously not WW) :)

I assume the first ep you're thinking of is when his poor wife died in childbirth. My SIL was pregnant with her first when that episode first aired, and her antenatal group were instructed not to watch it under any circs, so of course they all did and then were convinced they were all going to die.

Nowadays, we assume any pregnant woman who comes with 300 feet of the ER is probably going to get into serious trouble anyway, so it seems a lot less of a worry Grin

Is the other receptionist Frank? He is very annoying, if they wanted to off one of the ER receptionists, far better him than Jerry. Still remember Jerry appearing in one episode wearing his Viking helmet :)

lilibet · 07/06/2006 17:18

oooh - that's a toughie, but I shall return with an answer.

My main memory of that episode is the wonderful, wonderful Dr Greene saying "we'll have to push it back"

ouch!!!!!

tribpot · 07/06/2006 19:27

You're not allowed to look on IMDB or anything :) (Doesn't need to be the name, just which ep it is).

Ooh god, had forgotten the "we have to push it back" moment, I would have killed anyone who suggested such a thing to me at that stage of labour!

lilibet · 08/06/2006 10:45

Ah well, if you don't need the name, they had a disciplinary type thingy for Mark and Sean was there, and wasn't it the one with Carter and Red Buttons?

And if this is going to be a clique worth being in can you explain to me the significance of 'there's this guy in a hole', tell me who was the Gilbert and Sullivan fan and choose your favourite out of CJ's evening dresses!

tribpot · 08/06/2006 19:55

Yes, very good! Not sure about Red Buttons in that ep, definitely around that time though.

Guy in the hole - apparently it's better if your friend is down there with you (even though logically you would think that him building you a rope ladder would be better!) Particularly applicable to presidents and their ex-alcoholic Chiefs of Staff (Leo to be elevated to Dr Mark Greene status).

Gilbert and Sullivan fan - well, Lionel Tribbey obviously, I really don't know why he was replaced, he was ace. But Ainsley was too and Sam of course was in the Princeton Gilbert and Sullivan society?

CJ's evening dresses, this is a toughie. My fave was the one she wore in the Galileo episode I think. That's from memory! Blue and white?
