I am so excited!

DH takes over all catering for this fortnight (he does it at other times too) so I can plump my cushions, grab the handchange & get watching.

I'd like to be saying who I was putting my money on to win - but I really can't decide between Rafa, Federer Djokovitch & Murray.

I'd just say that it will be one of them and, sadly, I'd put Andy in last place.

Two weeks of tennis coming up!!

Bring it on. Wine (pimms) & Grin

Selfishly, I am hoping for rain delays on Saturday, so I don't miss too much whilst i am stuck at the village fairGrin.

Looking forward to Tsonga - hopefully now I've got my red point/dodgy Virgin channels sorted, I'll be able to watch. Gulbis is not a bad player though, so should be a good match. Also, really excited to see how Hewitt progresses.

Wednesday ORDER OF PLAY

And Robredo is playing Mahut later - that could potentially be a good fight, Robredo has been on good form, and both are very good over looooooong matches.Grin

Clay- that's how I always used to think when i was at workGrin

Raahh · 26/06/2013 09:16

red button

(can't even blame autocorrectTennis)

Raahh · 26/06/2013 09:21

And for a bit of doubles action- Laura Robson, who will be buzzing after her win yesterday, is on today, as are the British blokes, Fleming and Marray.

Work is inconvenient when it comes to Wimbledon and Ashes series. Given the massive bollocking we got on Monday for not concentrating and the subsequent removal of the radio (so no 5 live) I think I'll probably get fired if I sneak my phone in. Hang on...

Raahh · 26/06/2013 09:48

that's got to be against human rights, or something, Clay Grin

I love listening to tennis commentary on the radio in the car- except the natives get restless and demand 'music'. I have failed as a tennis-loving parentSadGrin

ClayDavis · 26/06/2013 10:53

How old are they? You need to be in for the long game. My mum was always in front of the TV watching Wimbledon, we used to think it was dull as ditch water. Now I can't get enough of it.

Raahh · 26/06/2013 10:59

They are 10, 6 and 2. Grin

I used to love Wimbledon as a kid- and it was the only time my usually ocd house proud mother would let things go a bit . Just a bit , mind not like me. She just used to sit glued to it, witha punnet of gooseberries. I was about 8, the first time we got chance to go to a tournament. it was brilliant- although we waited all day to see Connors- and then it rainedSad

My sister has always been bored witless by itGrin

ClayDavis · 26/06/2013 11:34

Yeah, pretty much always rains when I go to Wimbledon. Anyway off to work. Enjoy the tennis.

Raahh · 26/06/2013 11:41

have a good day!

Hewitt! Tennis

Raahh · 26/06/2013 11:43

Dustin Brown is a very cool looking guy, though. And a serve volleyer, which you don't get a lot.

Amazing hairEnvy

Raahh · 26/06/2013 11:46

i think this could be a tricky one for Hewitt.

Mama1980 · 26/06/2013 11:53

His hair is amazing Grin almost worth supporting him just for that! ( not quite though I really like Hewitt)

Raahh · 26/06/2013 11:53

I think the Aussie fans may get a bit annoying-the area around court 2 is not as big as number 1. I'm not sure I'd want to be sat next to them. Tennis

Raahh · 26/06/2013 11:54

I really like Hewitt- but think I may have found a new crush in DustinGrin

Raahh · 26/06/2013 11:56

'chip and charge'

not heard that for years !Grin

Raahh · 26/06/2013 12:16

Wow. That was a quick set- but very good!
